As a concerned pet Mommy, I researched PetSense beforing going, especially after seeing this review. This person is absolutely CRAZY!!! All the employees were extremely helpful, kind, & knowledgable. As for the "knock off" part, the employees were more than happy to share some of the companys history when I made the very same comparison. Apparently, the same man founded both PetSmart & PetSense. They said, "He wanted to share the same enviroment with smaller towns." THUMBS UP!!! DEFINATELY THE BEST PET SUPPLY STORE IN THE AREA!!!!!

Found this little pet store by accident over the 4th of July weekend and was pleasantly surprised. They had so many toys! There was a wide selection of food and so many types of treats it made my head spin (in a good way). A big thumbs up for a great (and long overdue) addition to the Rome area. Oh, and the staff was nothing but helpful and friendly. They also said that pets were welcome (as opposed to other pet stores in the area!) so I will definitely be going back with my dog so he can pick out his own toys next time.

I would not recommend this place. I just got my puppy back from them and they cut all of my puppys hair off after I told them not to touch her head. They gave the manager the excuse that she jumped whe they were cutting her body. Well what is the excuse for her nose being shaved?????? On top of all of this she has a knot in her tail and black stuff around her mouth!!! What is the excuse for that????? So now I have family coming in from out of town and my sweet puppy has an embarrassing hair cut

My husband and I just adopted a Jack Russell and we took him to Petsense to get a collar and lease. They had many beautiful non traditional items to choose from. Every isle was the same for the toys, beds, and food. Its the closest to my house and I actually like it better than the other stores in town. Its my first visit to a PetSense but not my last. The employees are friendly and super helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone.

This place is run by morons. Its not worth getting into how stupid they are, but suffice it to say I was floored by horrible, horrible customer service--not once, but TWICE. I will never set foot in this store again for any reason. Use Dippity Do Da Dogs. They are close in price to Petsense and responsible, intelligent adults work there!

Great service in the Groomers Shop!!! Margaret took care of my dog last week and did a top-notch job. Delainey has done the job before and is also great. You cannot go wrong with either of them. Store is always clean and well-stocked. The store clerks are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Good pet store but the college kids that work there are just there for the pay check. They pretty much stay in the office up front and chat with each other. They have good marked down dog food but when they put stuff on last chance, it isnt on clearance.

The manager is extremely helpful as well are the employees. The store is always in great shape and they seem to have in stock most of what we need. If anything I wish they could stock a wider variety of food for special needs cats.

We bought leather collars for the dods and had to return them several times because I had purchased the wrong sizes. They were very understanding ,and very pleasant while exchanging the dogs collars.

This place offers rescue cats so people dont have to go to the shelter to find a pet. Grooming and training services available. Staff helpful but not always knowledgeable.
