I would have kept it blank with no stars if I had an option. I did not think to post a review for the grooming salon when the incident took place a few months ago. However, in my recent interaction with Petsmart just a few moments ago over the phone I felt compelled to do so because it is my responsibility for all pet owners to know how I was treated then and just now. A little back story: I used to send my baby to see Amanda (who has since left to NC this past Dec) and I simply adored her because she was always a pleasure to communicate with every single time I went into Petsmart. When Amanda was not available I would go to her Salon Manager Jamie who also was a breath of fresh air. I cannot tell you a time that I have ever had an issue with either one of these ladies. Always consummate professionals, prompt & polite. If there was a discrepancy with my babies hair, it would get addressed with a smile. I understand that noone is perfect but I appreciate professionalism and great customer service! Now let me speed up the story line... A few months ago I had an appt with a lady named Tiffany whose known as one of the most "seasoned groomers" there that handles poodles in particular. I explained what my expectations were along with showing previous pictures since she never cut my babies hair before. Instead of appreciating the fact that I would Now to such lengths to help with the process, she was rude and reminded me of her "experience" in grooming and that this wasnt her first time grooming a poodle. Moving ahead: When I came later on in the afternoon and picked my baby up she looked awful! I was teary eyed because Tiffany messed her hair up so bad that they had to cut more hair to fix it where you could see her skin now. There were two store managers (male and female) (unfortunately that was the one day Jamie was not at work) that came out to hear and see what my grievance was about. They both told me that it looked deliberate and intentional as well. The reason why I felt a certain way was because when I initially came in to pick my baby up after I paid for the service. Tiffany didwhen other to greet me nor did she come and tell me my baby was ready or how things went while in the process (which is a norm for when you come and pick up from grooming. She miraculously was "busy" in the back the whole time I was there but seemed to be free as soon as I left the salon. Moving along to my phone just now: To find out now that when I called to schedule for Jamie to groom my babies hair that she is no longer there and they promoted Tiffany the most unprofessional and rude associate to a manager. I ended up speaking with a store manager because the young girl who answered the phone didnt know what to say about recommending a groomer and I surely didnt want Tiffany to touch my babies hair so a female manager got on phone & rudely said to me: I see that Jamie did your pets grooming.. She is at Dramatic Paws - you should go there! To me she was rude and short with me because all I asked was for someone other than Tiffany to cut my babies hair?! I will NOT return to Petsmart again. It has been my experience that some of Petsmarts employees severely lack the necessary people skills in order to be able to work in a customer service friendly environment. I will not allow myself to get agitated no more with this company again.

I am a professional dog trainer with credentials and a certificates in animal behavior. I would consider myself capable of owning and handling animals. I will NEVER EVER EVER recomend using petsmart services. Petsmart staff members are uneducated and arrogant! The training staff is a bunch of push overs that dont get results because the staff doesnt educate the owners. Every time I enter the store I get swormed my idiots! The floor staff feel the need to preach to me about how important this or that is. They get offended when I tell them dont pet my dogs (socialization is a process for rescues and puppies). And Ive tried just about everything besides a blunt F*** O** and they still dont seam to get the point. They feel that working at petsmart is a jump passed the threshold of infident dog knowledge in which you are blessed to linger in the presents of a dog item retail genuis, btw 99 percent of the BS they feed you is dated or myth!!! I will Never enter Columbus petsmart again.

Some nice staff, some not so nice. The past three grooms have all been different, ending with the worst groom yesterday. I have used Petsmart only for the past three years. I have our dog groomed once every 2 to 3 months. He was most recently groomed in June, then August/September, then November. June was perfect, and he looked great (same look for past two years). 2nd time the groomed said they would have to cut his beard due to matting. He still looked good, just with a shorter beard. Yesterday, they said the same thing, but added the words, "poodle cut" on face. I wish I knew what that had actually meant. They cut his beard all the way to the skin, like a "poodle". He looks the worst ever. We will not return to Petsmart with our $50. I think the problem may be due to the number of groomers they have and the difference in service between these groomers.

i recently adopted a puppy and bought the puppy guide coupon book from petsmart, i used my "free puppy bath" coupon last week and my experience was terrible. When i arrived they were short with me and never introduced herself to my puppy, who was nervous and shaking. she took her to the back without saying anything to me and the other lady said "come back at eight". When i went to pick her up the guy was very cold and when i asked how she did he said " well she didnt like the water and was fighting me and she broke out kennel dryer" i was in shock because my 12 week old puppy has only been in the water a few times and hates the kennel was being blamed for being puppy, he never said that he comforted her or tried to make her feel better..needless to say i was very disappointed in the grooming department and will never allow them to groom my animals again.

My dog has gone to this groomer in the past and has been fine but we just took him yesterday and (he was fine when we took him) coming out his voice was so raspy and just about gone as if someone choked him or tied the leash around his neck tight. His groomers name was Montana H. And I just spoke to a manager I believe her name was Linda she said she was there half the time he was there and said she didnt see anything and tried blaming his voice on using a flee and tick shampoo. I told her we do not pay for our dog to be mistreated and they took no blame and told me she couldnt do anything about it. DONT GO TO PETSMART ON BRADLEY PARK.
