What a great place!!! The first time we stopped in here was on our way back home from a trip to my parents. The pugs were out of food and I needed to find a place that carried their brand that would still be open. We made it to Pet People with 10 minutes to spare before they closed up shop for the night. When I walked in I asked if they carried "Fromm" and was told yes by the manager, Seth. Seth then walked me back to where it was kept. I had no idea that they had a no grain and limited grain option. I thought they were all the same. I grabbed the bag that we normally get and proceeded to check out. I told him that I was sorry for being such in a rush but I hate going into places just as theyre about to close. He told me not to worry about it. We talked for a little bit and I eventually brought the pugs in so they could meet. Since then I have visited this store 3 times. Not for food, but for treats and toys. You may think this is just another pet store...but its not. Sure, they have food, toys, treats, crates, and pretty much everything you need for your fur baby. BUT what sets them a part is not only the service but the selection. They do not carry anything that is harmful for your pet. For example, they only carry holistic foods and natural treats. No bi-product meal or crap like that. They also do not carry edible items that contain harmful grains like corn. When it comes to the service you get honest answers about what you are giving your dog or cat. They tell you what the differences are between brands and options...as well as what they recommend. The recommendation is based on their experience and what they give their own pets. Sometimes the recommendation is the higher priced, but then other times it is not. They want you to be happy with the selections you made. They have a dog washing station in the back of the store but I havent actually used it to be able to comment on it. The store overall looks very clean. You would think that the store just opened with how nice and clean everything is. But surprise theyre a little over 2 years old. I did join their rewards program and was happy to learn that their coupons do not expire!!! Also they have a frequent food program where you get the 13th bag free.

Interesting store and great if you need something for your pet. The location is good, not great and parking can be an issue depending on time of day or day of week. We frequent this location because they have a great dog bath, we do buy dog food here, but it is not cheap. The store has a buyer program that after so much money you earn a free bag of food - which is nice. The customer service is good, they are always willing to assist and very friendly to pets (of course). You can bring your pet in here if you wish - just keep an eye out for the eye level treats they can snag. This a good store that we will continue to shop at, mainly because the dog wash stations that are inexpensive and very easy to use.

Friendly knowlageble staff. Self service pet wash is very nice and free to use. Many high end products for dogs cats and some small animal items as well. I was impressed with the large selction of high quality food. Also ther is dog social nights for both large and small breeds. This is good for dog mental health its nice to get fiedo out of the house to meet new friends. Over all this is a good store.

Great place, great people!! I stopped in to buy a harness for my dog and it turned into a great shopping experience. The staff is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They seemed to enjoy their jobs and the questions they asked about by dog seemed genuine and not just something they had to do. Even though the location is a bit out of the way, I will continue to shop here for my dogs supplies.

Pet People is a great company. They care about your animals, and want you to have access to the best stuff for their health. I wont be getting my dogs food anywhere else now. And they also dont try to sell you on the insanely expensive stuff that your pets dont need.

they dont have enough products, this is really just a place to buy dog food. im glad they have a pet store here in nora but they need to get more in.
