This USED to be one of my fave places to find a little gem of a book or item, every once in a while. I think they have had new management for almost a year now, because that seems to be about whenever the store quality and morale of the workers, really went downhill. The constantly have a NOW HIRING sign posted outside in their lawn, and its sad to say, but whenever I used to go there weekly, that the reason why, was because workers were constantly quitting. I finally went back in again, last week, hoping to see a little change...but the only change I found, was that now health code violations are extremely apparant. I opened a drawer to a table, and had a rat staring back at me!! I actually tried to help the worker, who was worried about stopping their work they were currently doing, bc they were worried that by stopping, they wouldnt meet the managers stringent quota, for that particular day. This is a business, that prides and publicly displays that they help the veterans and others in the community, with the funds/donations, that they receive. As a military veteran, I shopped here, bc I thought my patronage would help in their funding As a veteran, I can also state, that both the morale, management, and composition of this current establishment, is failing tremendously; due to poor leadership. Perhaps, whenever proper management and leadership, is again reinstated, the business as a whole, will return to a thriving establishment....but until then, I sincerely believe that the health, morale fiber, and overrall continuity of this business, is headed towards abissmal failure.

I do like this place dont get me wrong, you can find a lot of neat stuff here HOWEVER some of the staff members are straight up jerks, all of them glare at you like you sre going to pick the store up and walk away with it and some chasers are very very rude I dont go as often Asbury did because of this the staff turn over is very high, they used to have a great staff that I knew by name all of the managers end up getting fired or quitting and let me tell you they have had some great managers! It is an upper management problem not an in-store problem, they need to start treating there workers better sob they stop being sinfully andb out of sorts and a pay increase wouldnt hurt ither on numerous occasions I have overheard some staff members say that they didnt have money for food! It was a private conversation that I shouldnt have heard but it makes me feel so bad for them. I really liked this store when it first opened.

I go to this store every week. Sometimes, twice a week. Very good selection of all kinds of stuff for very good prices too. Well, that was a couple of weeks ago. Went today and the prices are crazy high. Way over high for how they used to be and for a thrift store. Simple and or basic men/women shoes for $35? Mostly for $20? (Rounded off prices) some are even higher! From what used to be $10 or less, you get a good name brand pair. Clothes are now like $5 or more for a simple tee from what used to be $3 or less. Its crazy! I feel like the owners have gone so greedy! Why bump up prices like that when all the stuff for sale there were donated for free?? I usually spend $100 or more but thats for A WHOLE LOT of different kinds of items. Now, I dont even know if Id like to still come and shop. This is sad!

I like City Thrift. BUT, this place is over-priced. They will sell used name-brand items (they seem to especially love Converse and Ed Hardy) for more than $20. And it wont even be in good shape. It could be all raggedy and still ask $20-$25 for it just because of the brand. Also, they keep things behind the counters that make no sense. Normally, stores put things behind the counter if they are more expensive/likely to be stolen. But they have manga behind the counter. As an anime/manga fan, my question is: WHY? Theyre acting as if manga is so hard to find in the U.S. when it is found at almost every book store. They werent even rare ones. I dont get it.

I LOVE this store!! I always find amazing deals and the clothes are in great condition . I have even got some with the tags still on them. You just need to take the time and look through everything. Some of the staff are rude but you will have that anywhere you go. This store has helped me save so much money. There is no way I could afford to get my kids name brand clothes without this place. Thank you

I went looking for baby clothes and was AMAZED at the prices this thrift store was charging. $3.98 for a used 12 month polo shirt? $3.48 for a used onesie? Those were the lowest prices I found on the rack, so I left after just a few minutes and went to a thrift store that actually charges thrift store prices. You can buy brand new at Walmart for the prices they are asking for 2nd hand.

I work here and can tell you that this place has great stuff, from clothes to future. Everything is at good prices at most points, and there is a tag color that changes ever week and every Monday everything under $19.99 will be .99¢. But there is a couple of problems in this story, and that is that it does have a lot of dust everywhere. But I love it and I hop you will love it too. (⊙o⊙)

Apparently they hire just about anyone for this store. They dont treat their products with respect. When they have old video game cartridges in stock, they use packing tape to attach them to other cartridges or accessories. This damages the product and greatly decreases its value. Ive seen many other broken items for sale at this location. That shows how they dont care.

Lots of great clothes for nearly nothing. But, once you start to get to the larger or smaller sizes, there is very little selection. Also, in the larger and smaller sizes, there is a lot of miss matched sizes mixed in with them which makes it even harder to find the right size. It was cheap and they have plenty of other clothes. I will definitely be returning.

Everything is so crowded in there. And, the air seems heavy, not sure why. The lighting isnt very bright as well. I bought clothes for my kids there and a pair of shoes for myself. The clothes reeked of cigarette smoke and upon further inspection of the shoes, I realized that the sole of the shoe was broken completely in half. I will not be back.

If you have asthma, DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE! Everything is covered in dust, and for the prices they charge, you wont have much luck finding anything good in this store. They hide all of the discounted tags, so you will rarely get a decent discount.

Great all around selection and quality with the prices also being reasonable. There are regular sales so prices can easily drop. The store is well maintained and the staff is polite and helpful.
