I usually have no problem with Dollar Tree itself. Great layout, spacious store, clean. Respectful associates who are helpful without trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I dont need/want. On my trip today, as always, there were people outside asking for money/playing trumpet and asking for money/smoking and loitering. Now I know most of this has little to do with Dollar Tree in most cases. My issue is that the chain smoking loiterer stood directly outside of Dollar Trees door and acted as a doorman of sorts, waiting for someone to come and opening the door for them. Though this is strange, he was kind and I have no problem with this action. My problem comes when he is smoking right outside the door and my 1 YEAR OLD SON and myself have no choice but to walk through his giant puff of smoke if we wish to exit the store. Multiple employees commented on his presence (saying he came and went often) and even the manager walked in right past him and didnt say a word. Unfortunately, I will only be traveling to this Dollar Tree when I dont have my children with me (which is pretty much never) and drive all the way across town now that I know they have essentially given the chain smoking doorman their seal of approval.

Because every day items are only a dollar. Recently when a associate made a mistake, overcharging me I had to wait for a mgr.i was then informed that their policy is no refunds, but I could go find some more items. I had a tight budget and it was not my fault.when I asked where the policy was posted, I was referred to the tiny writing g on the bottom of the receipt.

This dollar store has a wider variety than I am used to, but the service here is TERRIBLE! The last two times I shopped here the cashiers didnt say a word to me until they tell me my total. How hard is it to say hello or to ask how my day is going? I dont expect much but if you are in a customer service position you should at least be a little bit social.
