I went there yesterday in order to have $3000 in work done to my motorcycle. It took them a few minutes before they realized someone was waiting to speak with someone and a lady came out of the back. I asked for an estimate and was told to speak to Ronnie in the back. I walked in the back expecting to shake hands and start discussing what needed to be done. Ronnie didnt shake my hand and spoke directly to the motorcycle he was working on saying he had no time for estimates. Truly a shame, I heard a lot of good about this place but my experience is sub-par and I will not be doing business with them in the future.

Ive been a customer of Cycle World since ive been in charleston [about 5 years]. Theyve never done me wrong, are always willing to help me with prices or hard to find parts, fast service, and great people. Ive learned so much from them that i could do all my repairs myself, but ill still pay them to do it because not only will they do it right the first time, theyll let me watch them do it [much faster than i ever could]. Ronnie and Sheree Tallent [owners/operators] are a god send to the bike culture of charleston. Whether you ride american or metric, rocket or cruiser, Cycle World is where its at.

#1 BIKE SERVICE SHOP. Im new to the Charleston area and had a problem with my rear brake on my 2003 Suzuki GSX-R600. I asked around at work and this place was highly recommended. Ronnie took great care of me and had my bike fixed in 10 min. He did a full checkup on my bike at NO CHARGE! He also taught me a lot about taking care of the bike myself. I am so pleased to have finally found an honest and trustworthy mechanic. Ronnie is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. This is by far one of the best businesses I have EVER had the pleasure of working with. A+

I have been going to Cycle World for all of my work for over 10 years and five different bikes. Ronnie is a regular detective when it comes to figuring out what the problem is. The prices are unbeatable. He wont charge or do work that isnt necessary. He can fix or customize your bike. He listens to you and then teaches you. I always leave the shop richer for the experience. My only regret is that I dont have enough time or money to spend at the shop.

RONNIE IS THE BEST IN THIS TOWN, HIS KNOWLEDGE OF MOTORCYCLES IS SECOND TO NONE. IVE BEEN USEING HIS SHOP EVER SINCE I BOUGHT MY BIKE IN 2008. HE RECENTLY HELPED ME WITH AN OIL LEAK. HE LEAD ME STRAIGHT TO THE PROBLEM, HE EVEN LENT ME HIS TOOLS, WHERE I FIXED IT IN THE PARKING LOT!!!! THERE ARE VERY FEW SHOPS THAT WILL GO OUT OF THERE WAY TO HELP SOMEONE LIKE RONNIE. Great place. Fair prices. Took my 08 R1 in for new fork seals and he called me the next day for me to come get the bike. I called around for price comparison within 50 miles and they had the best price. They beat their competition by at least $100.00. They are my shop of choice if anything else is beyond my ability to repair.

Ronnie and Mark are awesome...they helped find me my first bike, perform all the work on her and answer any questions I have. Ronnie loves bikes, so yes, he does talk to the bikes, thats okay, I talk to her too!! I wouldnt trust my bike with anyone else...
