The absolute WORST experience in a retail store. The Surfside Beach , SC store has the worst staff you could imagine. My wife and I were just in there looking at patio furniture, a set up front to be specific.. We sat down in the chair and on the couch piece. Louise was at the register and was looking over with a disgusted expression on her face and making comments to a dark haired female with tattoos on her arms (didnt get her name). The assistant manager was there as well counting out a drawer. I asked her (Louise) if she had a problem with us sitting on a piece of furniture that you want $600 for before we buy it. She tried to deflect her horrible example of customer service to say that she was talking to the other lady. The assistant manager didnt even acknowledge the situation until we were walking out the door. In the days before the internet, a dissatisfied customer would tell ten people of the bad experience, and those ten would tell an additional three each. Thus, costing the business 41 customers. In the current connected world we live in, a simple mouse click will be telling several thousand people of a horrible experience. And, that is only one level of expression. How many levels will this one horrible experience go? How many thousands of people throughout the United States and other countries will think twice before shopping an Old Time Pottery Now, I ask you, what is the lifetime value of a customer to your company? Because you will be loosing revenue. My wife and I will NEVER shop Old Time Pottery again.

This place is massive! If you have any home decor needs, you will find them here. Artificial flowers, vases, sheets, towels, dishes, bakeware, pictures, paintings, and a variety of clearance items. Indoor and outdoor decor. Immense selection of pillows! Be prepared to spend time here exploring all this store has to offer. Staff was friendly and helpful.

AMAZING PLACE!! its like Home Goods, Hobby Lobby and Tuesday Morning all rolled into one HUGE store.!!! LOVE IT!!! The Myrtle Beach store is actually in SURFSIDE - if you are looking for directions or mapquesting the store do NOT put the address as MB you MUST use 1870 N Kings Hwy SURFSIDE SC.

You will spend hours browsing the largest selection of home goods, kitchen wares, seasonal items, and lots of other items. Prices are too good to believe. Dont let the name deceive you, I dont even think they sell pottery.
