My first visit (and probably last one since I was just passing through Greenville), and I was impressed. Something for everybody: from the diehard anime fan to the serious paperback romance reader. Excellent selection of DVDs, CDs, and books in like new condition. Vibrant store atmosphere. Large and airy, like a Best Buy for books. Dont forget to try the back wall for clearance books! And bring your own bags; its a green store. (It sells reusable bags for 99 cents and up.) I almost didnt come after reading the reviews because I thought Id find little in my fields of interest: African American, U.S., and Southern history. Was I wrong! There were lots of history books from trade presses, but a solid selection from university presses. I spent $99 for 21 books. Many were hardcovers with dust jackets. Virtually every one was like brand new--only a couple had light writing inside. My fave deals? A hard copy, with dust jacket, brand new Freaks of Fortune by Jonathan Levy for $4 and a classic Deborah Gray White Arnt I a Woman for less than $3.

To be fair; it is a nice place and lots of interesting things they offer. However, they rip you off badly if youre looking to sell stuff. It is ridiculous. If you know anything about the things youre selling, as far as the market price and all, you should also have some sort of an idea how much your item should worth. And if youre stupid enough to sell to these guys I dont have any words to tell you, you might as well donate to goodwill. They just offered me 3$ for a brand new record (still wrapped) where they were selling the exact item for 39$. I mean I get it you make a business out of it but it is just sad that if someone didnt know how much their item worth or they were in need, this place is not here to help you. This place is here to rip you off and make bunch of money. But hey what can I say. Good job, you have a good business plan.

Decent place for second hand books, games, music, and more. 2nd & Charles has quite a selection of products, usually at decent prices, but organization is completely absent and the staff seem unwilling to help. I havent yet sold anything at the store, but I can only assume that the prices they offer are fair. Its a business, and they have to make enough of a profit on each item to keep the store running. Worth checking out, but dont go expecting them to have everything, or to find exactly what youre looking for immediately. Set aside some time to peruse their wares and you might come across some gems.

I was impressed with this store, I actually found it by accident, but it was worth it. I love the things they sell Records, Books, Comics, Video games retro and new. I live all the way in Cowpens and Its worth the forty five minute drive to get there. I would recommend this place to any one looking for games or books or any thing they sell. I also love there buy back counter. I was broke and brought a box of old games I didnt want anymore and was able to walk out with four new games and a rumble pack of my N64 controller. 5 stars and 100% satisfied.

I was very disappointed. I collect PlayStation RPGs and love reading novels. I had been looking forward to visiting. The store was large, chilly and pricy. The ps Vita collection only had 4 or 5 games - all were sports games, too. All the PlayStation games I was interested in costed at least double of what they are on Amazon. They have tons of books but just a couple of the ones I was searching for, and those were overpriced compared to Amazon, also. I wouldnt mind paying a bit extra if I enjoyed browsing, but I didnt.

Had heard lots of good things about this place in the past and finally got around to checking it out. Was pleasantly surprised. It has plenty to choose from as far as books, movies, and video games. Prices for books are completely reasonable. Did not appreciate the blantant upsale techniques such as creating a maze of overpriced merchandise on the way to the register, but I can understand, it is a business after all. They have a nifty bin out front with free books to take also.

Good place to buy, not sell. They had a large selection of used comic, books, records, games, and consoles. I found two old Nintendo 64 games that I wanted for a great price. Their trade-in policies are not customer friendly. You sign over the items and they then name a price. That price is final because youve already signed over the items, so you cant get to take the items elsewhere. They dont offer for value in trade-ins

Comics, games, Lps, collectibles and toys from almost every fandom known to humankind! Also they have books, books, and more books! Fiction, nonfiction, sci-fi, Christian, everything! Remeber to bring in all your gently loved goodies and trade them for cash or store credit. If Im having a bad day, I love just walking around the store seeing so many of my favorite things on display. This store really makes me happy.

Tons of books. The only downside is that the sections arent organized frequently, so the alphabetical order has *lost* a lot of its "order", but they have an electronic inventory of the books so, if youre looking for something/someone(author) specific, they can help with that. But good prices and they get new books in quite frequently (and they have "new arrivals" carts, so its easy to find).

This place is my favorite store. If youre a bookworm or not, this place has something for everyone. Video games, records, comics, toys, books, movies, cds, posters, tons of novelties, and a wide variety of popular movie, and genre items. Not to mention, you can trade in your old movies, books, games, electronics, and other.

Unbelievably high prices. Lego sets marked ABOVE retail. Quadcopters marked 100 above retail. Even the horse head masks were 30% higher than retail. I priced things all over the store. Ludicrously priced across the board. So sad too, a store with this retail model has unbelievable potential. Greed ruins it again.

Why did I never go to this place before? Books, games, collectibles and more in a huge store? At a discount? I went in for an hour and felt like I only got a third of the way through before I had to leave; kicking and screaming mind you. I look forward to getting some time to come back.

A neat place, lots of old books, comics, video games, and just generally anything you might need in media. Dont expect a lot of new stuff here, but if youre feeling nostalgic and want to pick up something from your childhood, this place is great. Also a great place for cheap gifts.

The staff is xtremely friendly, knowledgeable, if not they go the xtra mile to look up in inventory, then walk u 2 its location. Seems like they genuinely love their job, except 4 the whole magazine trial subscriptions thing, what a hassle it must be, yet they offer to ALL

A decent place to find old books at a fair price. Everything else however is priced MSRP for used items, above MSRP for things you can buy cheaper on Amazon, or just plain to expensive for being used. Not really sure what the store is trying to be, but it is very large.
