One of the worst bookstores in town. Yes, they have all the penn state stuff but the manager is rude and inconsiderate. I bought a pair of gloves and on the 2nd day of purchase, they got ripped. I went to exchange my gloves (with the original receipt) and the manager told me quote "What will i do with these? I will not be able to resell it", and he said this yelling at me in a rude manner. Clearly this store and its manager do not know the meaning of the word warranty. A similar thing happened with my friend who bought a nice jacket after saving his earning. He was excited about his jacket and on the 4th day of purchase, the pockets developed a hole. He was devastated and went back to the store and explained his situation. I dont need to tell you what the manager said... Next semester, he bought a jacket from the penn state book store and is very happy with it. At, the student book store, the staff will be very polite to you and thank you for the purchase. But just incase you feel like exchanging/returning your product, you will see their true colors if you go to the store.

Do not buy things from this store. Horrible customer service - Once they sell an item, they refuse to take responsibility for the very items they sold! I strongly suggest buying things from other stores (which btw have better and wider variety of collections of penn state apparel) Ill-mannered manager. Staff is not as rude & impolite as the manager. I have had bad experiences with them on 4 separate occasions. I honestly don’t even know why I went to this store when there are amazing stores downtown! Make a wise choice and choose a good store for your penn state stuff!!

The store itself is a very good PSU store. However, the employees are awful. They arent nice when you checkout and are entirely unhelpful when your shopping. They make you give them your bag when you enter "to prevent theft of textbooks" but you have to give over your bag even if you are shopping in the clothing section, which is annoying. The store has a nice selection but if you want a pleasurable shopping experience there are better options.

The great thing about this book store is that they often have whatever random computer accessory I may need, because my classes are mostly near Uni. Dr., this is quite convinient, the students who work there are lovely and capable, and I enjoy how easy it is to find what I need when Im there.

Note to self: get in here and get your books early before the crowd! Holy cats there is a lot of people in there! But, the store is well laid out with plenty of options for merchandise! Also, they are a relatively cheap place to get great Penn State stuff!

Books are expensive, they have good deals on used calculators and offer to buy a lot of stuff back. One of the employees said I could even bring the calculator back if it didnt work.
