I assume buying a new car is a pleasant experience here, but their Parts and Service division is a pitiful and sad joke in the auto service industry.I compare Chevy Vaden of Beaufort to dealerships, the same way I compare Taco Bell to Mexican restaurants. Lets ignore the fact that the first time I got my vehicle towed here for a blown out tire, one of the employees drove my vehicle off the truck and into a parking spot on the rim, then let it sit on the lot for a week.I was foolish to give these clowns a second chance at my business. THIS TIME, I called the parts center to order a replacement key, employee takes my card number, charges me a little over $100, then says itll be about three days. Its been a month now,and everytime I call, they give me an excuse and never call back. I even went in and tried to patiently deal with their parts shop.No update yet...I manage people, and I manage parts requisitions. This group of subpar performers fail to understand the basics of customer service. It would be understandble if only one disgruntled employee was at fault, but Ive been dealing with a different employee every time, and every single one, fails to take ownership of the problem, and fails to provide follow up feedback to me,the paying customer.I have paid them for a good, and they have failed to deliver said good.Needless to say, still no update, they still have my money.I strongly recommend driving ANYWHERE else for chevrolet service. The Good Year across the street is a much better option. They dont rape you on price, and the employees know the importance of following up.I would rather take my money and set it on fire, then give it to Vaden Chevy of Beaufort....because then at least Ill know where my money went.

Ive been coming to Vaden of Beaufort for service for three years. The service department has always been exceptional especially Anne Hurley. I had my car serviced once in Alexandria, Virginia where I spend half of my time and was told that my Enclave needed $900 worth of repairs. I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Vaden. After they examined my Enclave, Anne told me that all I needed was an oil change and air filter. After that experience, I decided never to trust anyone outside of Vaden to work on my car. If Anne told me I needed a repair, I totally trusted that it was needed (repairs of any kind have been rare). When I decided to purchase a new Enclave, I called Joshua Magness. He is one of the most honest, hard-working, and professional sales people youll ever meet. I truly enjoyed working with him because of his sincere desire to try to make my experience of buying a car enjoyable and it definitely was. When they say that "Vaden will go the extra mile," its completely true. If you want a fair and honest sales agreement, Josh will provide it. Hes also just a nice, compassionate person. As I said to him, I wish the earth had more people like him on it. I have never been to a "finance manager" and enjoyed that experience but Charles Wersler was wonderful. He explained everything, had a great sense of humor and it was apparent that he was well versed in sales and leasing agreements. I cant say enough about the whole staff at Vaden from Cedette, the Receptionist to Skip, the Used Car Manager. The whole group is truly delightful to be around. Im a Vaden customer for life (not to mention that I really love my new Enclave)!! Sincerely, Maureen Young

Due to family circumstances I was in a position to where I needed to purchase a vehicle while on a military deployment. After conducting an online search for the vehicle I was looking for (Porshe Boxter) through the USAA car buying service, I was in contact with various dealerships, Pursuing the first two lead to absolutely abismal results. The first dealership refused to work with me while I was overseas and the second dealership tried to pull a bait and switch. Thus my surprise when I contacted Vaden of Beaufort and was met with a helpful and professional response, after minor verification procedures on both sides we where able to close on the vehicle while I was still deployed in 3 days over a week-end with an 8 hour time difference. The most telling piece of information was the representative I was working with (Josh Magness) was up-front about the minor paint issue on the vehicle and in fact slightly overstated them. In addition to the honesty they had the follow-though to assist with my NC licence and registration when the NC DMV was operating at their normal (read sub-par) pace, and Vaden even sent the plates to MS where I was while on vacation. The best dealership I have purchased a vehicle from in 20 years through multiple countries, and states.

What can I say about our salesman, Glenn Thompson? I can say HES AWESOME! First of all, hes a great guy in general- a family man who proudly served our country in the armed forces. Secondly- he was incredibly knowledgeable about the car we test drove and then purchased. Things that I would have never known had he not told us, like that the leather was from cows that had never had ticks- thats called no-tick leather! His thorough knowledge of the car was so reassuring and helpful. He made the whole process of selecting the right car painless and even fun (Prada, right Glenn?). Lastly, he really came through on getting us the highest possible trade-in value for our old car. We were worried that the car would have almost no value but Glenn assured us he would take care of us and he did! He negotiated with his manager on our behalf and it really paid off! We have only purchased a few cars in the last 13 years but I can say that Glenn made this the best car buying experience of all of them!! I am so glad we met him, I am so glad he served us at the dealership and you will be so glad too- Glenn Thompson, the Vaden MVP!!!

On 8/15/15, Josh Magness changed my boyfriends life (and mine) for the better...by selling him truck. My boyfriend, James, has been looking to get a new (used) truck for quite some time now, having no real luck in finding anything. This past week, a friend of James told him to get in touch with Josh at Vaden of Beaufort to see if he might be able to help out in the search. Josh sent a few photos to James of things that might be in his price range for consideration. We went to the dealership on Saturday to look at the trucks in person. One truck that was there was ideal, but out of price range unfortunately, but Josh had gotten a trade in the day before that he thought might be just right. James test drove it and loved it! Josh came back with the numbers, and they were right where my boyfriend needed them to be. The process of the whole buying experience was made seamless and easy by Josh. He did a great job of listening to what James had to say about what he could afford and what it was he was looking for, and came through with a great truck that James & I will be able to enjoy for years to come!

Well lets see it started off pretty well found a car I liked that was in GA they said they could have it to on Monday and that the car was there. Well Monday came around and no call so I called them around 130 and I got oh that car was sold is there another one you want. I guess this chevy dealer has a ton of money and forgot who gives them that money cause I dont think I would have heard anything had I not called. then I have them bring me something else and the engine sounds like its on its last leg and the vehicle isnt even that old. so I wait a week and call and ask about a car and I talk to a female and I tell her what im already approved for and that I want this certain car for this price out the door and its within 1000 bucks of what they want and I get well we are in it for more than that. Really your in the car for the same price your selling it for I guess you guys are making any money and your working for free. This chevy dealer needs to remember who pays there bills and stop sucking people dry of there money. Oh and I just moved here to work on MCAS. Thanks for nothing VADEN OF BEAUFORT
