I Took my Jaguar 03 Stype in because it was jumping between 50-55 and when I applied the brake. I was told by Mark the service guy that this was a common problem with Jaguars. They diagnosed the problem by reading the codes and said that I should have the spark plugs and coils changed and it would solve the problem. Five hours later and $ 691.00 poorer I drove out of the dealership. I had not even driven out of the parking lot when the car jumped. When I told Mark that the car was still jumping he said that the mechanic had driven the car before the repair and he could not detect the jumping. So why did they recommend almost $700.00 worth of work!!!! He told me to come back the next day. I live in Melbourne, but I drove back. They had me test drive with the mechanic who miraculously felt the jumping now that I was in the car with him. He asked me to spend another 5 hours there, which I did not have time to do, so I returned several days later. At this point they read old service reports and did a history on the car and actually did what they should have done on day 1 before they charged me $700. They then said the problem was with the cars transmission computer also a common problem according to them, but that they could not fix it at this time. So Im out my money and my car still jumps. In addition to all the problems they were insistent that they had told me that changing the coils and spark plugs might not solve the problem. Had they told me that I would not have paid them $700 to fix a problem that their mechanic could not even detect. I AM A SINGLE MOM AND WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, MISLEAD, AND LIED TO.PLEASE DONT LET THEM DO THIS TO YOU!.

I brought my car in for an intermittent problem that my car has been experiencing for a few years now. Merritt Island Jaguar has a wonderful service department. Everyone is very welcoming and their technicians are intent on fixing the problem. I am always given a loaner car at no cost, which is a plus. My car is treated with respect and always bathed before it is returned to me. Unfortunately, since this is an intermittent problem they have not been able to resolved the issue as of course the fault codes do not present themselves while in their care.

Took my 2004 XKR because of hydraulic fluid leaking from power top hoses. Was told the $2000+ repair was a permanent fix for a known jaguar design flaw. The leak is back. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! Even earlier, took the "certified" jaguar technicians 3 weeks to figure out the fuel pump was bad, 3 weeks!!! Told me it was ready and it stalled pulling out. I wrote the GM, no response.

Very good experience...it seems they genuinely want to help. Appointments are easy to arrange and their waiting area offers everything to keep you happy while you wait...food, TV, exercise room, barber, etc. We would not go anywhere else.
