I would have loved to give this car dealership a good review.. but they really disappointed me. Just to make this easy Ill list them off. 1) our car salesman did not talk during the test drive (how awkward). 2) when I asked how safe the vehicle is his response was "its safe". 3) we wanted to buy the car because we had done research and we loved it, but our salesman was turning us off from it. 4) we were told would get a full tank of gas but only left with half. 5) getting it detailed took forever and when we asked about how much longer our salesman said he would check and never came back. 6) when we went to look for him we ran into a manager who said hed find him 7) when he came back he confronted us about looking for him and said his manager chewed him out because of it. ..... Let me pause to say all of the things above I was willing to forgive.. but what happened after that is whats pissing me off..... 8) i noticed the next day THE TAG THEY WROTE US WAS EXPIRED. 9) I called once they opened and they apologized for all of the above and promised to overnight a new tag. That was Sunday. Today is Thursday. Still no tag. 10) we called to see where our tag was and were told wed get called back in 20 minutes. They never called me back. But about 40 minutes later they called him. Says they had to "fight for a new tag" but that it would be sent out today. But never updated us with that information. I never like to leave a negative review. But I will always leave an honest review. And honestly, unless this is the absolute only place you can go to buy a car, search anywhere else. On a positive note, if you do decide to go to this dealership, they did offer better financing that USAA so Ill give them that.

Went to New River Auto Mall on Saturday to look at used cars. This is my second and probably last experience with this place. The first time I went there was last year to buy a used car. Made a deal on a used Cadillac STS, was signing the papers when the salesman came back to me and said he couldnt sell it to me because someone (not there) had made a more than full price offer on the car. So, lets look at something else...I ran. Saturday I had two salespeople approach me and try to get me into the office to talk to a manager. On the first one, I hadnt even looked at any cars. On the second one, we took a test drive. I was told where to go, when to turn, strange test drive. If Im buying a used car, Im going to test drive it more than a couple miles, and have a mechanic check it out. As soon as we arrived back at the dealership, she wanted me to go talk to a manager. Eventually she got me to go sign up to win something, and as soon as she sat down at her desk some guy came over and started interrogating me. Not the least bit friendly. I told him I wasnt buying anything and not answering any more questions and he left. Asked who that was, it was her sales manager. I felt like the whole time I was getting rushed and high pressured. Not a pleasant sales experience at all. At least the saleslady was nice.

I am 14 years old and was walking around the Jaguar lot looking for an F-Type R in which a very nice Jaguar associate had told me I could go and look at. We were on our way to it and a New River Auto Mall employee in a Ford Explorer came up to me and yelled "There are cars around here! Get to your parents right now!" And I said "what did we do? I was told I was allowed to walk to this car" and he rudely responds "I dont care! Get walking kid!". I knew I had to walk or I would be busted. (My parents allowed me to go and see the car) But thats not all... after that he started to STALK us all around the dealership and continued to do this until our parents came around the corner. I got on the sidewalk to avoid any trouble and he immediately says GET ON THE SIDEWALK AND WATCH OUT FOR THOSE CARS! I was already on the sidewalk... "Those cars" were our parents picking us up because the employee forced us to call them. He the stalked our parents cars as we left and finally gave up at the exit. The only good thing was that ALL of the dealerships were very nice with service and everything. This two star review was all because of an extremely rude New River Auto Mall employee.

Terrible business. They allowed me to drive in from out of state, with my baby, in stormy weather to test drive and buy a vehicle that they never really had. I had been communicating with Michele all day and told her we were out of state and would drive in to test the car out and make the purchase. She said the car was available for us and set us up an appointment for that afternoon. Well, 9 minutes before our appointment, as we are parking and getting the baby ready to go in we get a call from Jim who sounded "off" when we told him we arrived he sighed dramatically and said ok, see you inside. We go in, knowing they must have sold it and prepared to be let down. He said Im a sorry, I went to pull the car and its gone, we no longer have it. We were so angry we told him we werent interested in anything else he had and we left. It was 100% clear they lied to get us there and they hadnt had the car for a while. I will never buy from these scummy sales people. Did they really think wed stick around and look at their inventory. They had hours to realize the car was gone while we were on the road. They are full of it.

Traveled down from Charleston to buy a late model used car. First it took 4 hours to buy a used car? Then I get home and the radio doesnt work. Overnight I see oil leaks on my driveway, same the next day. So I drive back down to returned the vehicle. They begrudgingly took the car back and said they would send me a check when my check had cleared. Mind you, when I bought the car they asked to see the funds in my bank account and printed out my statement? Can they even do that? Well the check had cleared my bank the next day. Called them and asked them to send the check, they said OK. Four and five days later, no check. Called again, they said "well we told the accountant to send it", offering no apology, just said "well look into it". The Following week, still no check? Called again and it took half a day to get ahold of somebody! They said they had sent the check the previous day. Fine, the following day I get the check overnighted. Which caught them in a lie. Horrible customer service, car was not checked out or gone through, took two weeks to get my money back, Oh, and I wasnt wearing a polo!

I went to look at an Audi in hopes to buy my daughter a car and walked into the showroom where there were 3 sales associates...two of them were chatting with potential customers about where they were going to eat and I continued to walk around the showroom to see if I could get someone to help me look at a car. The other salesman was working on the computer, but after looking at 3 cars in the showroom with the sales associates just looking at me, not a hello, or a may we help you...nothing!! I had already been to 2 other dealers and had excellent service. I walked out with not one person trying to get my business...needless to say I wont be buying an Audi much less anything from that dealership. Talk about poor customer service. Good thing the Jaguar dealership was next door...their customer service was top notch!! By the way, the Jaguar/lLand Rover dealership was swamped with people yet the salesman made time for me even with 2 other customers in the showroom!! Talk about service!!
