Worse experience I had with customer service thus far. I had a layaway that was placed in December. Due to personal reasons my husband and I decided to cancel it. I paid $162 and some change by this time. Come January I go to the York store to cancel it and was told their system is not allowing them to handle this. The manager advise I just pay it off and then do an exchange. Yes, that sounds easy however, not the route I wanted to go, I mean why? They willingly took my money and now all of a sudden "unable to do it." I fought with the store back in forth, made calls to corporate and nothing. FINALLY the end of March, I received my refund. They deducted $20.00 because of me cancelling it, however, it is finally over. I am very disappointed with Sears and how they handled this situation.

I like Sears when I go into a store. This Sears locally I have no complaints about. But Sears a whole is irritating. But I try to call the local number to talk to a person and I get transferred to some "customer service representative" in India or some other place. Sometime I cant even get connected to a human at all. Perhaps this is one of the reasons Sears is failing. Some of their customer service sucks.

This store is a shining example of why sears is failing. Half empty shelves, zero shoppers, zero customer service and people at the register who cannot even exchange basic pleasantries. The girl in tools seemed more interested in getting to her break time than doing her job. Almost laughed out loud when they offered an extended warranty....this place will not be here next year.

It looks like a ghost town in this store. It is pointless to shop here, they have almost nothing in-stock, and their overall product offering has been slashed. There was a time when Sears was a decent store to shop at. Now its dead. I saw about 5 sad looking employees the entire time I was there. Cut your losses and close. Your time is done

Initieal Customer Service is excellent, shopping for bedding and got knowledgable help, but if you have issues...well....good luck. If purchasing a mattress only come to Sears and Mattress Warehouse if you want honest and knowledgable help at good prices

They fixed my lawn mower. The estimated time for the repair was accurate. They called with pricing for the work that needed to be done prior to replacing the parts.

Always fun in the Sears store. Bought a tool chest and they spent an hour helping me pick the best one, definitely a great experience.
