When we bought furniture the sales person was more than helpful. It did take a little time to receive the special order however when the furniture hit the warehouse it was charged to my account. I didnt even have the furniture in my house yet. I was told policy. I also thought through Bon-Tons rewards program I would get quite a bit of reward coupons. Not so. About 10 months later we felt a spring coming up through the sofa cushion and I called the store and spoke with my sales person. She gave me the number of customer service to take care of warranties. Also, I spoke with her regarding the rewards coupons and was told that she would look into it. Never heard back! In the mean time I called CS and was told there service company would get back to me in 2-3 days to schedule an appt. to evaluate my claim. Didnt hear back and called CS back in week and 1/2. Got a call from Reliable Services immediately and scheduled an evaluation which was out another month and had a window of 4 hours to wait around. Was told that yes I had a legitimate claim and would hear back in a couple of days. No response and called Bon Ton CS again!!!! they said yes they have the claim and would ship the cushion to me in a week. recd it about 3 weeks later. Let Bon Ton CS know I recd it and Reliable was to call me 2-3 days. Never heard from them. We inserted the replacement cushion ourselves.....WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM BON TON AGAIN. and that is with the department store as well. very unhappy!!!!

The BON TON store itself is great. I give that 4 and some stars... The furniture gallery however, its actually about 2 and 1/2 stars. If you buy something that is in store and not special order, youll be fine. Service as expected. However, Im on month 3 waiting for my special order sofas. We ordered carpet, windows and sofas all at the same time. The windows are built, The carpet is installed. The sofas.... are somewhere in limbo because of 2 days of snow almost 2 months ago? (official reason for the delay) and apparently BonTon has no way of getting in touch with the manufacturer to see whats going on so im SOL waiting on furniture and sitting on the floor. When i call BTFG, the people on the phone dont have any information. Price is OK. Not the most expensive place around.

I bought a quality named brand mattress here, and in 3 months it had significant wear, caused by the inferiority of quality! They said it was guaranteed,, but refused any kind of return or store credit... STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE... A COMPLETE RIPOFF!!!!
