Just Press Play has always exceeded my expectations for a game store. Given that Gamestop was the only store in my area for several years, it was great to know of another place to shop for video games that still carried retro games. Staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable about video games both new and retro. Their selection of video games is incredible. There are times I have seen titles on their shelves that I have never seen before in my life. On top of it, their prices are very fair, even for rare games. These guys could take advantage of customers by charging a premium for these games because they are so rare. But you know what? They dont. Believe me, I check their prices just to keep them honest and I have never felt like I have been had. I understand that some of the prices for the older and rarer titles may surprise individuals, but spend some time researching prices and you will find that what Just Press Play charges is within market prices. Of course you can get lucky once in a while and find a rare game for cheap at a yard sale or flea market, but those chances are rare themselves and you run the risk of buying a copy that has no warranty and may be heavily damaged. With Just Press Play, you do not run the risk of that. I used to cringe looking at Sega CD games at other game stores because of the amount of scratches and smudges on the disks. At Just Press Play, you do not have to worry about that. I never had a problem with CD based games from them because they are always in great condition. In summary, if you live in the central PA area and are looking for new and retro games, there really is no other place like Just Press Play. Support these guys, they deserve your business.

My nephew just got PSP and I decided to take him out and get some games for it. Since hes down in Jennersville area and there are no retro game stores around him we had a choice. Go down into the city or up to Lancaster. We decided on Lancaster and Im glad we did. We started off with a leisurely drive through farm country up to Willow and visited the first of 3 Just Press Play stores in the Lancaster region. This location appears to be the newest one and I found a very nice store that was well stocked with a enough retro and current gaming items to sate just about anyones needs. We found a large assortment of PSP games on a rack right inside the front door and in no time at all my nephew had picked out 3 games for himself. I want to point out that all of their PSP games came in their original folding cases. Often times when shopping for PSP games or movies you find the UMD/s loose. Not here. Its a nice touch that I discovered throughout the days visit to all their locations. JPP has taken the time to clean up and package all of their content. The price came out to less than $20. You gotta love retro. For a third of the price of a new game my nephew ended up with 3 games that will keep him busy for hours. As we were checking out I ended up talking to the assistant manager, I believe his name was Ian, and we discussed the store and philosophy etc. Also I wanted to note, they have a 14 day game return / exchange policy. All I have to say is "Nice people, great place". Ill definitely visit again when Im back in the area.

Great customer service and beyond So I bought a game that happened to skip and took it back to get replaced found out it was a problem with my system and needed an update At the moment I have no Internet so the manager(Chris ...awesome guy) was kind enough to take time to do this for me (which took 3 hours and fixed the problem) not only was this something that was unnecessary to do on their part (Fact ..no other place would have done this) they also made me feel like it was in no way an inconvenience and in that gained a customer for life...Thank you and keep up the great job guys and gals

Overpriced, medium quality selection (at best) at both of these just press play stores. Shop on eBay and get a sweepingly better value for your money. Employees are not there to help you at all as a matter of fact they even told me they take their best stuff and sell it online. Save your time and just buy it online if youre willing to pay top dollar because trust me you wont get it any cheaper in person at their stores. One of the worst game stores I have been to in PA and I have been to lots of them.

The assistant manager LEE was very helpful and explained the retro game system and games to me very well, I myself know nothing about games and wanted to play the old super Mario and donkey kong. Lee went out of his way shown me step by step as to setup and even how to clean the games. I will definitely be going back to the willow street just press play and i suggest for anyone who has no idea as to what games are what just go and see Lee he will help you out

I was there with my son and he was having difficulty with one of his Pokémon games. The staff (Lee, Ben and Steve(I think that was his name)) were great! Lee especially took the time to work with my son and help him download the game he was looking for. He explained some things with the 3 DS so he could do it by himself in the future. Great experience

The staff in general seems down to earth, but I write this review in particular of Justin. In my experience, hes been awesome. He is definitely knowledgeable, and when I traded in some stuff he seemed to give me the best possible prices. Also, he quickly replaced bad cords that came with the N64 I bought, and was apologetic and empathetic.

The store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are always helpful with up to date information about their products and are willing to answer any and all questions a customer may have. Im excited to see them branch out to have four locations and am looking forward to seeing their future growth. Five stars

great store with nice helpful staff. its nice to know there are still family run video game stores that are genuinley better than the big name stores. the only downside with just press play is that they often dont get pre order bonuses products ship with since gamestop tends to get exclusivity with them

This is THE place to buy your games. They have or can get just about anything you are looking for, are super knowledgeable about what they sell and are polite. They offer fair trade in for old stuff and my kids love looking at all the "old" video game systems on display on the ceiling shelves.

Super helpful staff; the store manager, Lee, was thorough when searching for a specific game from the 90s we needed for an online class...and clarified system compatibility issues and remedies for us. Saved us tons of heartache and money, and figured out which product would work for us.
