This is my first time writing a review for any place, but I need to share my experience in hopes someone else doesnt have to go through the same thing. I bought a car here in July (2014). My old car (Saturn) was on its last leg. By that I mean, I literally drove it to work that day, got a ride on my lunch break to Whitehall Auto Sales to buy my new car, and then had my old car towed to my house because it wouldnt have made it. Goes without saying I was desperate. When I test drove the car, I noticed the horn didnt work. No big deal, Im not an aggressive driver, I hardly ever use it. When we were filling out the paperwork, they told me the horn would get replaced, but it would cost me $400. Huh? But, because I was desperate I agreed to it. I filled out a "We Owe You" certificate that said they owed me a horn replacement. There was a section on the certificate that said the work needed to be completed within 30 days with a box to be checked next to it. I was told since I paid for it, to not check the box, it didnt apply to me. Fair enough. I forgot about the horn. Like I said, I never use it. Until I took my car to get inspected this month. Ah! My horn! Everything else passed fine (knocking on wood according to everyone else who posted on here) So I called to make sure they still had the part and the did. Nice! Made an appointment for today to drop it off at 8:00 am. When I went to drop it off the mechanic was the first one there. He tells me hes not even sure if the part will fix my horn, but he will try. Huh? Regardless, I need the horn fixed. Get a call at 3:30 today (7 hours later) saying it cant be fixed. I say "No problem, Ill just take the part and take it somewhere else and get a refund since you cant fix it". They tell me its NON REFUNDABLE because its electrical work? Now, OBVIOUSLY, if I was told at the time, the work on my horn either a) might not work, or b) if it doesnt work is non refundable, I would have NEVER paid $400 to get it done. Im not a MORON. They were incredibly rude and argumentative on the phone as if I was the one at fault, as if I did something wrong. THEY WONT EVEN GIVE ME THE PART THAT I PAID FOR!!!! Im so livid, hand to GOD, I literally went to pick up my car, saw my keys on the counter, grabbed them and walked out. Id rather EAT the $400 then deal with these people for 5 more seconds who wouldnt know customer service if it smacked them in the face with a frying pan. Hopefully this helps someone, Id strongly consider looking elsewhere for a car, and judging by the rest of the posts on here Im not alone (aside from the two that were posted on the same day which is obviously an employee). I wish I could have rated it a 0 . Worst car "dealership" in the state . The will sell you a car quick but when it comes to problems with it the owner hides and they tell you problems it could be until the warranty runs out. Im finding out the hard way . Im now stuck with transfer case and drive train problems on my 2005 Ford Escape that are going to cost over $1,000 . Their well trained mechanic told me it was just the tires , just the way a truck drives, just needs an alignment, etc. Not 1 time out of the 4 times I brought it there did he even look under the car or bring it into the garage . He just ran his hand over the tires and said "yeah your gonna need tires" . I just bought the car in February for $5600 and have not stopped fixing things on it that they keep telling me wasnt covered under warranty. Please save yourself the money and headaches and go to a REAL establishment.

I have purchased 2 scions from Whitehall auto sales. The 1st one was in 2012 it was a 2004 scion xa very clean in and out the staff was very respectful and worked with my down payment and my bi weekly payments. Price for the car was good as well, I love the car but to a car crazy driver I was hit and the car was totaled. I moved to new York so I didnt need to purchased a car until in 2014 which I purchased a 2008 scion xb which was clean in an out. When I came to the sale lady was very helpful and respectful she was not pushy she worked with me as well as the owner very good experience here and I still have the car I had to 0 things done to the car but oil changes love the car as well as the dealer ship. bought my 06 cobalt there in january. went to leave the lot and check engine light came on. told them and they said they would handle it at a later date. Said they didnt have a scanner in the shop. what kind of shop dosnt have a scanner? anyways 3 days later car went into limp home mode and i took it in to see what they could do. said there was nothing they could do as it wasnt under warranty. also found out they ran inspection on a car on their lot since mine wouldnt legally pass to sell it to me. ended up easily fixing the car myself and been good to me since then. NEVER BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!! Bunch of clowns

i only have gotten one vehicle from whitehall autosales. service here is excellent, people are very nice and always willing to work with you. been going thru tough time when got divorced and whitehall has worked with me thru all my struggles most places wouldnt do that. cars here are very nice well taken care of n i am definitely come back for another car once my first one is paid off. payments are reasonable n they work with you on all aspects overall very happy with service here n would recommend more people come here.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! STAFF WAS RUDE BESIDE ONE PERSON AN OLDER MAN OWNER DOES NOT WORK WITH YOU . I GOT A CAR FROM THEM AFTER TWO DAYS IT WAS FALLING APART THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE PARTS AND WORK IT NEEDED THEY HAVE A WARRANTY CALLED 50/50 BUT ITS A LOAD OF BULL SH** BECAUSE THE RANK UP THE PRICE SO YOUR REALY PAYING FULL PRICE NOT 50% I FINALY GAVE THE CAR BACK AND LOST MY MONEY BUT I WOULD NEVER GO BACK EVEN IF WAS THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH SCAMERS THEY ARE.........

Do Not Go Here! Theyre scammers! My monthly payment is $320 & sometimes I split it up so Ill pay them $160 on one week I get paid then the other half when I get paid again. But it was this one time I forgot to give the other half for the month. So a few days later they repo my car over $146 (past due) . & For me to get my car back they wanted $1,150! Do yourself a favor & dont go there!!
