Excellent Overall Experience My wife and I were dreading the "car buying process" and had put it off for a long time. We had not bought a car through a dealership in close to 20 years. We started at Buchanan Auto Park to test drive a few cars and had no intention of buying until we were confident we had exhausted all of our options. When we arrived we met the Sales Consultant Dan Langley. We gave him a general idea of what we were looking for. We thought we were going to be interested in a small SUV or crossover and thought they may make a good family car. Dan was very patient and took the time to show us every single car that we pointed to. We made multiple runs back and forth to the office to get different sets of keys. He was very knowledgeable about every car as well. Once we told Dan we wanted to really take our time and drive multiple cars he informed us that through the "family" of Buchanan Dealerships who could get any car to the lot for us to try including from their Subaru dealership on the Eastern Shore. We were impressed. Once we test drove and saw the space in the mini-vans we decided to go that route and Dan went over and let us test drive every one on the lot and was willing to bring in others if we needed. At no time did Dan "pressure" us. As a matter of fact he was very perceptive of when he should step away so my wife and I could talk in private. He was very respectful of our price zone and did not ever try to talk us into anything he genuinely did not think would interest us. Once we decided on the car to purchase we had to "negotiate" with Rob (Sales Manager). I say "negotiate" because Rob too was also very respectful of our price limits and did not pressure us or present us with anything that was not in our limits. We told them what we wanted to pay, Dan and Rob came back with an offer including the financing that was very fair but we hoped to come down a little. They agreed to come down to what we wanted (which was very close to original) and we had a deal. There was never once any pressure or "tough negotiating". They gave us a fair offer and even sweetened the offer for us without pressure. It was very pleasant. I had also done a bit of homework on the Market Value and feel they gave us a terrific deal with the original offer. Once we had a deal we went with Derek in financing. By now it was well past closing and we have 2 children (8 and 5 year olds) and Dan and Derek stayed late and entertained the kids while we got the financing paperwork taken car of. The entire staff was terrific having our kids in their offices for multiple hours. They gave toys and kept them entertained. Dan was very diligent, knowledgeable and respectful. I would recommend buying a car at Buchannan Auto Park and highly recommend talking with Dan Langley. We honestly felt we were treated well and got a great deal.

I bought my last new car in 2003. I loved my car and through ALOT of miles and 3 accidents, I always thought I would buy another one just like it. UNTIL I saw the Jeep Renegade. I wanted a Renegade in the worst way. Unfortunately, we have a rough couple years and I didnt think it would ever happen. But we decided to look and see what kind of pricing we were looking at. I am not a big fan of most dealerships because as a woman, I usually get treated...well...like a girl. We had already been to a dealership in Hagerstown. We told the Salesperson we were not ready to buy yet. Dont call us...well call or come in when we are ready. He called before we got home and then every day for 2-3 weeks. We talked to Robbie Veil one evening and basically had the same conversation. He was fine with that, gave us his card and said hed talk to us when we were ready....and he is a man of his word. So when we were finally ready to go, my husband called Robbie and told him we would be up the next evening. When we got there, Robbie was with customers and had Laura Zahos help us with the details and pricing. We had talked about leasing and we had concerns because of the "old school" leases and the horror stories to go with them. Laura was great and explained everything, took us for a test drive and gave us the pricing on the Renegade we were looking at. When Robbie was finished that evening, he apologized and we told him not to worry. We werent going to be ready to do anything until the following week. Finally the day came and we got to the dealership right at closing, but these guys came out and told us to come in. Our credit was not great, so when the first round of financing was done, things were not looking good. Max Million was awesome and worked some kind of magic and got it done for us. The Renegade was sitting in front of the window and I walked over to look at it, still doubting that this was really going to happen. Robbie said the best thing anyone could have said at that moment..."Lara...its ok...its yours, you can smile" I havent stopped smiling since. I LOVE MY JEEP RENEGADE!!! This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Everyone at Buchanan is great. Just because we were not their customer didnt mean they didnt interact with us. By the time I drove out of the lot, I felt like part of the family. Also, Robbie is Fabulous when he going through all the bells and whistles of the vehicles. Not only did he explain everything...patiently...but he also gave great tips for safety if anything bad were ever to happen. I would recommend Buchanan to anyone!! I love these people and they truly are my heros!!!

I was actually screamed at by Kevin (sales manager) that Buchanan Auto Park didnt want my business in the middle of the showroom floor. Short story: I actually purchased a brand new Jeep from Buchanan Auto Park in 2006, and I walked in there just before Valentines day 2013 with $50,000 in my pocket and the intent to buy a new truck. The salesman Brandon and I looked at a few trucks and took one out for a test drive. I liked the truck very much and decided to see what sort of offer they could put together for me. I did not like Kevins initial offer on my trade, so I asked for $7,000. He was able to get his best offer up to $6,500 for my trade. We then found out that the company that my wife works for has a purchase program through Chrysler. After running the numbers through them, I was able to get a $2,000 better price on the truck I wanted than I had been able to negotiate on my own. This was great, except that Kevin decided to take the $2,000 that I was saving on the new truck purchase and deduct it from the $6,500 that he had already offered me for my trade. I declined the deal, because I believed that I could do better on the trade (which I later did elsewhere) and prepared to leave. As I was putting on my coat, Kevin started yelling at me very loudly in the middle of the showroom floor. He told me that I was a "f**king liar" and that my offer wasnt worth s**t, and that he didnt want to do business with a "f**king liar". I wish I had recorded the whole incident, because I probably wouldnt have believed it if I wasnt witnessing it first hand. Kevin then told Brandon the salesman to not talk to me anymore and get me out of the showroom. If all of that wasnt bad enough, these clowns had the audacity to repeatedly call my mobile, my home and my place of business to try and get me to come back in and make a deal. Let me make this very clear: I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BUCHANAN AUTO PARK EVER AGAIN! I had to file complaints with Ram trucks and the Better Business Bureau, and I have made an effort to tell everybody that I talk to about my new truck (that I purchased from Cumberland Valley Motors in Mechanicsburg), where I bought it and what happened to me at Buchanan. Never again. I would advise you to go elsewhere.
