My son loves attending PCD karate. He does their before and after school program their. When he attended other daycares it was a hassle getting him up, and dropping him off. He would cling to his dad and cry when he would finally get out the door. Now my son looks forward to going every morning and pushes me out the door when I drop him. When I first sent my son their 2 years ago he was just a mess. He was getting bullied at school, his first year of wrestling went horrible. He had very low self esteem, didnt want to interact with other kids,and was very shy. My husband and I thought karate was a good idea but was having trouble finding a good dojo. A friend of ours recommended PCD so we figured why not give it a try. Upon my first meeting with the owner (Anthony) I explained how my son was. He listened very closely and told me that with time and patience I would see a new kid. To be honest I had my doubts. My son was a momma boy who did not like being away from me at all. It took a lot of patience on both my part and the sensis but my son did come through. Two years later he still does karate and loves doing it. He no longer gets bullied at school, has total confidence in himself, and is a very outgoing little boy now. His goal is to become a black belt so he can be just like all his sensis. PCD karate is just an all around great place. When ever you need them they are their for you. Their were a few times I had to work last minute and they took my son no questions ask. I also like the fact that they do a lot for the community as well. Their have an anti bullying army and also have a demo team where they do small shows around different places.

I have noticed a significant change in my daughter since she began with PCD 11 weeks ago. Not only does she have more confidence in herself, she also is becoming more respectful of us as her parents and respectful of others and there decisions. My goal is to help her over come her fears, boost confidence, and always to look out for others. Shihan Anthony, and his Sensis will indeed send your children in the right direction, I for one am keeping my daughter in PCD because I have seen and listened to all that goes on in there, and it is one of the most positive places I have ever been in. I always feel good whenever I leave PCD, they truly know how to turn a negative into a positive and teach with words of confidence,they also know how to show the kids how to have fun and how to be a family of one. Mentors are important in life, this is the place to find that and how to become one yourself. Positivity is the right direction to go in, and if there is one place that has it, it would be PCD. A truly successful place.

I moved to PA only a year ago and wanted to get my 9yr old son in some activities. Being new often makes you nervous because you arent quite sure what places would be good. While on fb PCD Karate popped up and I decided to sign him up. I am thrilled to say that they fall nothing short of amazing! Its a big family and we are happy to be apart of it. My son Bazir goes to the aftercare, takes karate lessons and will soon be apart of their exciting summer camp. His confidence is through the roof and he is excelling in all aspects of his life since he has started at PCD. I feel so comfortable knowing that my child is in good hands and we love our extended family at PCD. If youre looking for a great, inexpensive and safe environment for your children to flourish in, this is the place!!

Pocono Crimson Dragon ROCKS!!!! I remember back in September, I was in desperate need of an after school program for my children but, with a sport, activity or anything that will keep them busy and not have them just sitting around waiting for me. I was really interested in enrolling them in something that would teach them discipline and build self confidence because I was having a hard time fulfilling that myself. PCD has helped me in so many ways when it comes to my children. I look back, take a minute, and reminisce how they were before and how they are now. I want to thank you PCD for making a change not only in Mayleens and Elijahs life, but mine as well. Thanks, Jen

When you want your child to join an extra curricular activity to be part of the community and interact with others their own age PCD is the perfect place! My daughter has joined about a month ago and I can say it was and has been the best decision weve made as a family. My daughter is always happy and excited to come to see her friends in Karate class, she experiences one on one time even though classes are full of little ones. The kids are not just a number or a pay check they are remembered and treated like a family member. I love this place and would recommend anyone who loves their child to try and join (you will not be disappointed).

My son loves Pocono Crimson Dragon. He has fun at every class and his focus, confidence, and determination has improved dramatically. The Senseis teach life skills alongside Martial Arts and place an emphasis on being a good person. They show faith in their students and in return their students believe in themselves and strive to do their best in and out of the dojo. The school frequently holds special events that bond the students (and families) to one another and make you feel as if you are part of a family rather than just a customer. (Also...their birthday parties rock!)

Awesome school! My daughter was an extremely shy child.....she spent a month and a half in doorway of dojo....she wouldnt go in.....than one day she got up and joined in with the Little Dragons .... she ended with Black Belt Club and with a year break still wants to be a part of great PCD family! Great after school program - and they pick your child up from school, amazing summer camps, awesome parents night off camps....school closed camps.....you name it - they got it.....will go out and beyond to meet your needs! Amazing staff and Senseis! Love it!

My son Jonathan started in PCD end of March early April and has such a positive experience in such a short amount of time!! They treat all the kids equal and help us parents give them a positive, strong outlook on life. Im so glad we were referred here!! It has helped my son and my family so much weve all come together!! I expect my son and our family to be apart of this family forever!! They all work so hard to make everyone happy!! So heres a big thank you to Shihan Anthony!! And all the sensei s!! My children and I are very happy! They started a little over a month ago and Heaven forbid we miss a day. Ive seen a huge improvement in my son and his confidence, he no longer cries when hes upset, hes more attentive and alert and he no longer lets other kids that pick on him bother him as much as before. My daughter is becoming more fit and active and Im great fun for that. Theyre very excited to continue and accomplish more and more! Aside from that the staff is extremely friendly and accepting. The coffee is good too
