I was in the Berwyn/Devon store and a salesman there was VERY mean and insulting to my husband and I. We were looking at golf bags and , 2 times, he insulted us, first me and then my husband. He said to me-" he is not buying a car, you know, why is he taking so long?". I ignored him, but then he came over to both of us. My husband asked him a question and he sighed, rolled his eyes and then said, " its only a bag, you know. It is not rocket science. Just pick a couple, look at them, and pick one." He then walked away. We were so upset we left the store. We were there to purchase a bag, 3 shirts, slacks, a jacket, and some accessories for gifts, but we left without anything. We were also browsing for a set for my grandson who is taking up the sport. I would not suggest going there unless you want to be insulted and not given any courteous service. Was never treated like that before by any salesperson. By the way, it was not like he was busy. There was only one other shopper in the store and this is holiday shopping season. . I guess other people already knew what we had to find out for ourselves. Dont go there!!!

Wish there was a zero star setting here. The Berwyn store is the worst. A few good staff there but Ryan whos an Asst manager should not be working at all in a public setting. One of the rudest and downright nastiest person I have ever met!!!! Overall attitude is poor towards anyone who is in the store.... Im sorry you still live in your Moms basement and your only friends are the Pedro the Pet Rock you got in 5th grade and your assortment of GI Joe figures you have acquired through Xmas gifts over the years.... By the way Santa Claus isnt real either. Maybe thats why you have a chip on your shoulder everyday. You should treat customers a little bit better and stop blaming them that you got your lunch money taken everyday in school and the fact you are 5 foot tall. Whatever you do dont jump off a curb and end it all. Having said that anyone looking for golf itemsyou are better off making the drive to Delaware and go there. Hands Down the most knowledgeable folks anywhere and making a golf purchase pretty cool. And definitely no bad attitudes down there.

I went to golf galaxy to purchase my first set of clubs. I had no idea that I needed to be fitted and the women helping me made no mention of it. She seemed more concerned "accessorizing" me than making sure I had my clubs squared away. So I get out on the course and someone says "I think your clubs might be to short." The following season I called and explained, the moron on the phone told me to come in, and when I drove 30 mins (each way) up to the store, he told me I needed to make an appointment. And the kicker, I called customer service and you know what they sent me? A sleeve of balls, a coupon and a stupid towel! And is it just me or is everyone that works at a golf shop a total jerk-off?

This review is specifically about the PGA Master Professional, Leigh, who frequents this store. He has taken me from quite simply swiping at the ball, to some semblance of an actual swing. Golf Galaxy have good video equipment, so you get a 5 minute video after each lesson, with a collection of drills to focus on before the next lesson. Leigh recommended a set of golf clubs, and chose for me a set of good quality clubs at a reasonable price. He didnt push to up-sell, and I spent a piece less than I expected. In addition, the PGA lesson packages are much less expensive than I had expected. All in all Im super happy.

The salesman/fitter had "some" knowledge of clubs but very little for a "Top 100" fitting location. Associate provided receipt and informed me that because I paid for one day shipping, my customer clubs should be at my house in less than 10 days from manufacturer. That was almost three weeks ago. I have called three times about the order. One time I was told they were being shipped in a few days, one time another date and the third time I was told they were too busy to look up my $1100 order. Never again will I go to this or any Golf Galaxy or Dicks.

I spend way too much time in Golf Galaxy, but its worth it. The staff there is very knowledgeable and is always helpful. I dont know how many times I went in to browse and walked out with a new club or pair of shoes. There really arent a lot of choices for golf equipment in my area, so this location is wonderful. If you are in the market for golf equipment, go to Golf Galaxy.

@golfgalaxy you really need to check into a employ you have at your Devon Pa store 380 West Swedesford Road Berwyn, PA 19312. Hes the most rude and racist person Ive ever meet ! He is name is Dan he looks like Marco Rubio not a joke ... When dark skin people walk in he follows them and acts rude and very disrespectful he should be removed or step down from being a manager...

Went there for a golf lesson with their PGA pro. He took his time, work with me on my swing. The video was very helpful, they save it and you can access it from the web and save on your computer. Great lesson, they had a special package for $99 for 3 lessons, I was happy enough that I bought 6 lessons, a steal at that price.

I went to this store to have a putter shortened and re-gripped. The fee for this service is $7 which seems to me very reasonable. The man at the club repair counter, Jay, helped me choose a new grip and did the labor in less than five minutes. He was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store.

Bought the pro pack with lessons with golf pro Lee Taylor and I cant say enough about the positive experience I had with Lee. He corrected a lot of mistakes I was making and I now have the confidence I needed on the course.
