I have to write a review. Ive worked in the industry. It is not easy. You can go 6 hours and have no customers, or you can have 6 people impatiently waiting because its payday, and they just got off work and "NEED" to buy something before they go home for dinner. First off, if you go during prime business hours(between 4-7) you mind as well plan on waiting a while. Second. Do some research at home before you leave your house. Educate yourself on products. Its so easy. Not to mention that you may actually be smarter than the person youre about to put your faith in to sell you the right product. Third. Dont waste their time. If you just like asking a bunch of questions or need your hand held throughout the whole process, stay home. Because youre about to piss off a bunch of other customers, cost the store 10 grand on sales due to other customers getting tired of waiting, and then theyll come here and ignorantly post negative comments. SO my suggestion? Go during off peak hours. Call the store ahead of time between 2pm and 4pm and find out when they are slowest so you can ask all your questions. I went at 7. I was asked repeatedly from no fewer than 6 associates if I needed help. These guys are working their butts off. And you come on here and give them a poor rating because your selfish as decided to wait until the week before Christmas or the first day of school, to go buy a computer. Sorry. Some people lack common sense. Anyway, these guys are fantastic. And ladies. Aside from the one girl that she has 5 computers, which I find hard to believe but hey...Ill give her the benefit of the doubt. They sold me what I wanted. They didnt shove their Extended Service Plan down my throat: real quick on that....again do research. You can buy extended plans through most companies directly. But usually the stores like Best Buy, Staples...can get you a better more convenient plan due to them selling a ton of these and the stores being located everywhere. Should you buy one? It all depends. If there is accidental protection and you arent tech savvy? Then I say yes. Go for it. Dont bank on the neighbor kid to fix your computer every time you get the blue screen of death or its gone plaid. Back to the review. This Best Buy is 1 of the busiest stores Ive ever seen from them. I would say this store and the South Hills store are close to how busy they are. SO be patient. If they are busy, come back another time. They are well staffed. You just need to know when to go. And if your questions arent being answered buy employee x ask employee y or z. Keep it up Best Buy of Robinson. You guys deserve a little more credit than people seem to want to give you.

Store looks very nice, clean, I love the displays. Walked all the way around the store in a circle until I was approached. Then told the gentleman I needed a Fitbit or Fitbit type of device that recorded biking. He promptly took me to the Fitbit area, around the corner from where we were. And showed me 3 options. The Fitbit, the TomTom and the Garmin. He told me that all three recorded biking. Then I asked what he difference was between the three. Annnnd he kinda started to break down and I think he began making stuff up. He began breaking eye contact and kept pausing and did not sound confident in the answers he gave me at all. He said that one was for mountain biking, one was for overall fitness, and the other was for recording distance and thats it. I find that very hard to believe. I would assume that all 3 brands can record my regular everyday biking activities. They probably all record distance and general fitness. I then asked the gentleman the price range for these options and he told me around $250. After finding out how expensive it was I decided not to buy it today. But upon checking online when I got home, the Garmin that he showed me, only costs $59.99. This guy had no idea the price and just pulled 250 outta nowhere. Had I known it was only $60 bucks I woulda bought it. But instead Ill just order it online now from Amazon. Where they dont just flat out lie to the customer and pull stuff outta nowhere. I think Ill take my business to Amazon or Office Depot from now on. Thank you.

There is apathy among the staff for greeting and assisting customers...no one comes to help you, they ignore you when you approach them and you have to interrupt their conversations with each other to get assistance. I had 3 employees who were rude in 3 different departments in 15 min & left without buying anything. One of these employees actually made fun of my outfit to other employees right in front of me. After leaving, I called to speak to a manager and selected the option in the menu for "other issues" (option 2). I let the phone ring 30 times each on 2 separate calls and no one answered. I called a third time and followed the prompts like I wanted to buy something (option 1) and got a staff member on the phone after about 5 min on hold. I asked for a manager and was told they were all "at lunch" and the general store manager was off that day. I called the next day and was told the managers were "all busy" and the store manager was off again that day. I left a message requesting a call back from one of the managers.

Rude in Robinson. The geek squad does not know what theyre talking about. I went in one day and was told to bring the battery in so that they could get the serial number off of the battery and order the new one for me with my black tie plan. I bought the battery in and then was told by another associate that I needed to have the whole computer there and information on my computer in order for them to order the battery for me. I did the battery replacement once before on a prior computer and they never needed this information from me. This is not the first time Ive had trouble with them. I took a camera to service there and was told that they had to send it in. The camera still took pictures and I wanted to take it on vacation even though it was broke. I took it to the Monaca Best Buy where I was told that they couldnt even send this out for service. I will go out of my way and always go to the Monaca Best Buy where associates are not rude and actually helpful.

Getting computer service done here is worse than going to the dentist. I tried them for convenience but they are definitely not in the customer service business. Computer repair is the main thing you should not use Best Buy for. You have to make an appointment to make an appointment. In this day and age to totally disregard the needs of your customers is unforgivable. They explained that there was nothing they could do about having to make an appointment to pay for your purchase or anything else. I explained that there certainly is. Your company just chooses not to. Best Buy executives definitely need to read some good books on service. I can suggest "The Customer Service Revolution. After this experience, I returned my latest purchase and vowed to locate a better, customer oriented supplier for my electronic needs. I would have done one star but they do have a good selection of products if you are in a hurry and nothing else is available.
