As usual, after 10 p.m. there is only one cashier on and the self-serve registers may be open. I shopped at the Levittown Super Walmart, as I do many evenings, and after 10 p.m. If youre lucky, there may be a supervisor present. Tonight we had Lil on register 11 and we had I think Joan, heavy set woman with a blonde bird nest on her head. The store has not carried large bags for over a year. They only carry bags that measure 12 by 10 inches. So pretty much they only fit one box of cereal. You have to bring your own boxes or your own bags from another store. The problem is that everything that Walmart sells is pretty much large. I guess next year theyre not going to have any bags at all. So Lil at register 11 rang my order up. She gave me the total, and would not put the groceries in the cart. I am handicapped due to multiple back surgeries. These people know me, as I come in there frequently. So I asked Lil if there was anyone who could help load cat litter, a case of soda, and a few other heavy items into my car. Her response was" youre going to have to look around the store yourself and find somebody to help you". I said I am supposed to go around this super Walmart with this big basket of groceries and search out someone to help me? She said "yea". I said, Dont you have a walkie-talkie, a button on your register, or phone to call a supervisor when there is a problem? She said no, "I have to wait till one of them walks by". I was told by the 3 to 11 supervisor that there is always one or two supervisors on the overnight shift that are on staff and are reachable by the cashiers at any time. Lil denied that statement. She said, If you wait until I check out all of the people in line (10), then maybe I can find someone to help you. I guess she just expects me to stay there all night and wait at her leisure. I just dont get how they get away with this behavior. She should be fired on the spot. I have severe back problems, however I try to be as independent as I can. Most people are more than happy to help, but the cashiers who work at this store could care less. Their job description states that all employees are required to assist anyone who requests assistance for any reason. So screw the raise to $15 an hour. These people cant even do their job. They should make $5 or less an hour. A very nice stock gentleman, named Perry, was listening to the conversation and said "Miss, come with me. Ill help you with your packages to your car". He stopped what he was doing, introduced himself, and helped me get the heavy items into the car. I have had help from him before and from another gentleman by the name of Rudy who picks up trash and cleans the floors. Most of the overnight Stock men and women are pleasant, helpful, and do their jobs without complaint. They are the people who deserve the $15 an hour. I have reported the same people over and over to the store supervisors, the managers, toand to the CEO of the Walmart. I was told that they cannot get people to hire anyone from Falls Township, New Jersey, and the surrounding Bucks County area. Well gee why do you think they dont want to work there? Theres absolutely no support from Administration. There is no system reprimand for not following the job description. There are no incentives to behave like a respectful person. You really shouldnt get incentives to be respectful. The workers in the store allow teenagers who come in to ride all of the electric scooters so that none are available for handicapped people who need them. The overnight stock people push carts in the aisles so that customers can get through the Isle with a cart. Either manage and have an appropriate amount of Cashiersband Supetvisors, or close up. Their meat and fish department sucks. Low quality and poorly butchered.

On the one hand, its difficult to argue with Walmarts prices, 100% guarantee and their generally reliable inventory controls. Unlike, say, Target or Kohls at Walmart youll rarely find empty shelf-space where your cereal should be. I also like their recent practice of buying only local produce, whenever possible. On the other hand, visiting some of their stores I get the sense that Ive mistakenly wandered into the backstage area at a particularly dodgy carnival sideshow. Maybe this could be remedied with a few more dollars spent on maintenance and cleaning? And here in Levittown we see perhaps Walmarts biggest failing: poor management of checkout; the supervisors always seem a few minutes late in dragooning more cashiers to meet a sudden crush of customers.

Used to love this Walmart, now I avoid it at all costs. Lines are always REALLY long, theres never enough people at check out even though its ALWAYS busy. The most frustrating thing about this Walmart is the shelves are NEVER stocked. Everytime I do venture to Walmart, I end up leaving with only half of my list because the shelves are empty or I leave entirely because of the frustration this place brings. Walmart used to be the best place for one stop shop. I end up going to multiple stores anyway to find what I need, so why even bother with Walmart anymore. Oh and the prices seems to be like any other store these days.

The best Walmart experience Ive ever had. Store is spacious, spotless, and inviting, and the staff is well trained and efficient. One of my items (the last one to be rung up, of course) had lost its UPC tag - no problem, as checkout subtotal was placed on hold in the register and the following customer was able to check out without delay while the floor manager retrieved the price. I then returned to the register and was out the door a moment later. Well done, Walmart, youll be seeing plenty of me in the future :))

I would give them 4 STARS but 3 will have to Do! They are open 24hrs and I understand that Loss Prevention needs to keep the loss at a low and this is why not a lot of registers are open late at night but the self check out shouldnt be capped with cash only when you either only have 1 actual cashier scheduled. We actually had to wait about 45 minutes one night because we were using our card to pay and they didnt have ANY checkout lines open and again....cash only at Self Checkout!

Fairly organized for a Walmart -- very annoying if you are trying to checkout and its close to midnight as they reboot the self-checkouts and these are the only registers open that late. The line rapidly grows but is slow to progress during/after, so try to avoid that. 23.75 hour convenience is still great though considering they have a decent hardware selection and they are the only store in the area open 24hrs that I know of if you need to get parts for emergency repairs.

Ordered several items for in store pick up. Instead of offering one pick up they have split my order into (so far) 3 pick ups. So I ordered Sunday night. I get a message that some is available for pick up Tuesday. Possible pick up for another item is Friday. The other item has a possible delivery date of sometime next week. If I knew this was going to be done this way I would have not made the order at Walmart. I would have shopped around other stores to find my items.
