Updated Oct 26: I put one star this time. Hold on, its a long story. I bought iPhone 7. I discovered defect (hissing noise). Replace phone 1 time - okay. Same problem, exchanged 2nd time. They told that it will be a last time. Same problem, I exchanged it 3rd time. SAME! But it is Apple fault. Not this specific apple store workers. So Im okay with that. But today, I came and told them that I want to exchange phone last time. One very rude worker told me "We cant". He said that "Phone not supposed to be ideal, your problem not defect". WAT!? 800$ phone not supposed to be ideal and be without defects?? I told them "So you think Im a liar? You think I like go to apple store every day and change phone?", after that they told me "Okay, if I change it and it defective what you will do?" I told that I will return it, why should I use defective phone for this money. He told me extremely rude "Okay. I will refund you and take phone back". I told them okay, I returned phone, get my money, went to Apple Store in Wayne, bought another iPhone 7, finally without defects. By the way Apple Store workers in Wayne were surprised of such rude workers of Rockaway "geniuses". I also spent more than 2 days just to get working phone. Everybody here very slow. In every visit here I spend 1 hour of time minimum. See my review below. First time I was very disappointed about phone but not about workers. But now I happy with phone and disapointed with workers of this Apple Store. There are couple good guys and girls here, but mostly it has rude and not competent workers. P.S. All Sim Free iPhone 7 rose gold 128 from Apple Store in Rockaway were defected. They really had terrible noise from CPU and noise when record video. T-Mobile same model iPhone from Wayne Apple Store had no any hissing noise, but SIRI worked bad. That happened because I did not put off manufacturer screen protector. It covered mic. I found that info from Apple web site, because I didnt know iPhone has 3 mics. OFFICIAL SITE has that info, and Apple Store Rockaway "Geniuses" spent hour to find problem and they did not. They even dont know iPhone construction! Who hires them?? Nov 2015:Im from another country and this was my first visit to Apple Store ever. Service is good in generally. I came with problem on my iPhone 5. Battery replacement. Manager told me to wait 30 minutes. I came back in 40. Manager told me that phone is ready and I will get it in 5 minute. I was waiting for 50 minutes. And I needed to ask another manager did they forgot about me. And just in 50-60 minutes Ive got my phone back. Why they told me to come back in 30 minutes? Why not to told me to come back on 1.5 hour? I wasted 1 hour of my life.

I give this one star review at the apple store located in rockaway nj because i had gone in there to get my phone fixed or see what they could have help me out with and ended up even worst. I go in on a friday afternoon and got an appt and then after waiting for a couple mins for the technician to come in tell him that iam having problems with my phone that the volume on it is pretty low and that its not normal as the others phones are, so then he goes on with trying to fix it and runs down test on the phone like a couple times and then he cleans it out with this small brush he had and sparys this liquid thing they have to clean out the phones and still my phone is the same thing so then he tells me that theres nothing we can do then gust pay $299 because my phone is out of warranty and etc.... after like an hour in half of walking out of there i went straight home and i receive my first phone call and boom there it is where i noticed that they ended up running my phone because now the i cant even hear at all. So then i let the whole day go by to see if my phone will fix up by its self but nothing. So then next morning on saturday i go back to see if they can do anything about it, and i go on and sit and waited a couple mins until somebody came and helped and i explain them the problem that my phone got ruined by them because they were the last person trying to fix my phone and after that it gust got ruined completley. And the lady that came to me to help me was really rude to me because i was trying to explain everything that had happened and she would gust talk to me so short as if she wanted to get ride of me and be done. And all she said let me see what they wrote down here in the notes about your situation and she read it and said nope sorry theres nothing we can other than you gust paying those $300 for a new phone. I really feel they did not help me out at all and i ended up even worse with my phone not working at all now and being there fault they should have at least work something out with me.

I was having a difficult time opening up my Internet, so I went to Apple in Rockaway, NJ and was told that this was a very easy fix. I was asked if I had an appointment, which I couldnt do without accessing the Internet. After the guy pushed about 50 buttons, he got it working. During the next three weeks, I had to return over a dozen times, with the same problem. Of course, I had no appointment, because I had no Internet. Sometimes, I got quick service and other times I waited a long time. Most of the people I talked to initially in each visit indicated that they were some kind of manager. They told me that Apple doesnt have any viruses...instead they called it MALWARE (definition is "software that is designed to damage or disable a computer or computer system"...sounds like a virus not even in sheeps clothing. Then, they told me it was my fault. The last time, I showed up and tried to video tape the conversation, but the manager told me Apple does not allow that. After the manager and the top tech worked for about a half an hour, it worked and I went home and couldnt open my Internet. So, I drove right back and they told me it was Verizons fault, but somehow fixed it anyway. Finally, they got it fixed.

What happen when a company with good reputation decide to hire a bunch of idiots, dress lake a homeless, and with out a sense of customer service? They loose customers. I went today with the intention of buying a macpro desktop or perhaps a laptop even do that I have a advance pc but I want a mac, I walk around and try and look for the varies differences between them before make a decision; I was there for about half an hour and nobody I repeat nobody even ask me if they can help me, so I decided that I will give my money to someone else, I ask for the manager and they point me to the guy who was near me doing nothing for long time and never ask me anything, so I told this other idiot this history and he didnt say anything at all, no apologies, or perhaps I can help you...nothing, cero, nada, so if you looking for a mac stay away from this store, they are a bunch of idiots that look like homeless, what a shame, they need a real manager in there someone that at least has a degree in Business Administration. I stop today and the same thing still going on, a guy in shorts, flip flops, tshirt, no haircut and a baseball hat on...to be honest they look homeless....what a shame
