Ive purchased two trucks here and never really had a bad experience to speak of. Of all the car dealerships Ive been a customer at (and worked at) over the years, Hanover Toyota is definitely a step above them. They dont add on a bunch of dealer extras garbage when buying a new car. They offer you extras when you go into the financing process but you can simply say no and they dont pressure you. Other area dealerships add rip-offs like pinstripes and "security guard" stickers and they charge you several hundred dollars for nothing even before you start the sales process. Hanover Toyota doesnt do this crap. Take it from someone that has worked at four different car dealerships. If there is a sticker next to the factory window sticker with dealer pre-installed extras (that is they installed them before you even purchased the car leaving you no option but to pay for them) TURN AROUND AND LEAVE. Pinstripes and fake security guard stickers cost the dealers basically nothing and they turn around and charge you, the customer, several hundred dollars. All they are doing is lining their pockets. (sorry for the rant) Sales and service people at Hanover Toyota are knowledgeable and friendly. The cost of service work if not under warranty isnt going to be cheap but you should know that if your buying a Toyota. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Only issue Ive had here is the parts dept really doesnt stock much. I needed some touch up paint and had to wait a week for it to arrive. Another time I needed power steering fluid and they didnt have that either.

We worked with Jordan Neel and purchased a used Corolla. Jordan is the best salesman Ive ever worked with. His customer service is unparalleled, his knowledge is extensive, and his ability to listen to the customer and match them with the right vehicle is impressive and extremely helpful. We purchased a Toyota from another dealership a few months before, but it was totaled in an accident. While at first we set out to simply replace it (same model, etc.), working with Jordan, we found a better fit for our family that Im much happier with at a price we felt good about. Our buying experience at Hanover was way above and beyond the experience we had at the previous dealership or any other dealer we visited. Jordan took time with us start to finish to learn what we wanted and ultimately teach us all about our new car, such as showing us how to use and set up various features (the car we bought had many more bells and whistles than any car wed owned before). The service remained excellent through and beyond the buying experience, in all our interactions with various Hanover team members (in finance, the guy who detailed the car, etc.) and in the weeks and months to follow when we had questions. Although we live in Washington, DC, Hanover Toyota is now our go-to dealership. Thanks to Toyota, we can get repairs done at dealerships nearer to us for convenience sake, but if/when we need a new car, we absolutely plan to return to Hanover, and I highly recommend you do the same.

CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! We just had the most horrible customer service experience with Hanover Toyota and would never again recommend using them. We called at the end of June to schedule warranty work for the undercarriage to our Toyota Sequoia. The recall date ended 7/31/14. They scheduled the warranty work for 9/15/14. When my wife called the employee told her that was the earliest they could schedule that work. She asked about the 7/31/14 deadline and the employee told her as long as the appointment was schedule beforehand that it was ok. They call the first week in September to tell us that the work would not be covered for the warranty. When my wife explained her conversation with their employee and sequence of events. They said that employee no longer works here (for good reason apparently) and basically called her a liar and their was nothing they could do. They would still be willing to look at it but it would not be covered. Why wait until after 7/31/14 to call us? Why not before? Why make the appointment in the first place? Oh yeah, when they called my wife to tell her that the work wouldnt be covered, they told her that there were 2 appointments like this that apparently the same employee scheduled. Their response basically - sorry nothing we can do, take it up with Toyota (manufacturer) if you have a problem. Unfortunately, I had to give them 1 star to get a rating. CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION!

We werent sure we were going to be able to upgrade to a newer vehicle when mine needed some large repairs. From the first inquiry call to our going into the dealership with a 2 year old copilot, everyone was very polite and went above and beyond to work with us. We were greeted and when the gentleman Id originally spoken with was assisting someone else introduced to Jordan Neel who right away did what was needed to find a good match for our vehicle needs, working with sales manager Dan to found us a newer model to test and make sure the backseat drivers car seat fit and left room for the rear of the crew. Once decided and we had all lined up, off to finance who worked things out to help us stay in our budget range (thanks Mike Bankert) and explained options clearly and never made us feel pressured. We were never made feel unreasonable for only interest in certified pre owned. I knew I wanted to stay with RAV4. The team at Hanover made that possible, were all friendly ( a special thanks to Becky for smiling thru cleanup from a quick 2 year olds art on the desk and spill on the steps). Im hopeful that experience on the service side goes as well. We are off to a great start for return customer and recommendation to friend and family when the need arises!

Looking for a used car, I didnt think I would end up at a major dealership but Im sure glad I did! We starting walking around the lot and the salesman, Paul Z, greeted us. He was very friendly and personalable. We told Paul what we were looking for and he immediately pointed is in the right direction to the Toyota certified pre-owned cars and gave us time to look around. Once we decided we wanted to test drive , Paul got the keys and showed us the ins and outs of the car. After the test drive, we wanted to think it over but were very interested in the car. We came back later that day and asked for Paul to sit down and start the process of purchasing the car. Paul was very accommodating and helped us through each step. It was a little overwhelming for me but Paul remained calm and helped us through each step. Even the finance part was a breeze thanks to Mike. After everything was settled, Paul walked us out to the car and showed us the car once again and made sure all our questions we answered. He even called the next day to check up and make sure we didnt have any questions or concerns about the car. Overall, my experience at Hanover Toyota was excellent and I couldnt have asked for a better place and salesman to buy from!

The most pleasant experience in buying my first new car!!! I always bought a used car and the last one I had have a high cost of maintenance. I was hesitating whether I should put more budget in a used car or finance a new car. I have been thinking a lot over this issue since I have a limited budget. Fortunately, my colleague introduced me to Aaron who is very knowledgable on car financial. He listens to my problems and did his best to help me out; after talking to him I had no hesitation to buy a brand new car. Thanks so much Aaron! Also, my salesman Mick was so friendly and professional, I just told him what I was looking for and he showed me only one car that I ended up buying! He explained car functions very throughly before I took a test drive and repeat them again after purchase to make sure you are good to go!. Jenn was helping on my paperwork she is very friendly and gave clear explanation before I sign something. Last but not least, the overall experience was excellent. I left the location with my first new car with a relief!. Everybody is very friendly with professional manners. I highly recommend you to buy a car from Hanover Toyota!!
