Im sorry to learn that this place, once my fave place to shop, has changed hands. Definitely a different vibe, and even different employees. When I went there this month it was a Saturday around noon and there were not even any pizzas in the case at that time of day. This was never the case! While there I purchased 4 large sausage links that were supposedly apple chicken sausages. I froze them when I got home and when I unwrapped them to cook I noticed they were very slimy--they were definitely NOT apple chicken sausages and they tasted horrible. I pitched them. Some of the baked goods that were staples in the store, not there. Not sure why it is that when things change hands, they never seem to improve, only go downhill. My lovely store, full of ambience, is no longer there.

Things seem quite over priced here as compared to simpler food markets. Looking at the ingredients on some of the items that are higher priced, theyre not much different from the less expensive items. Same amount of preservatives, same amount of added sugars and processed ingredients. I couldnt find any dry garbanzo beans either, they dont seem to offer them. The produce is organic and Im rarely disappointed by the quality. Their specialists are quite helpful when they want to be as well. The checkout procedure is a joke btw. When it comes down to it, Ill probably never go here once Whole Foods Market opens up at the Glen Eagle Shopping Center.

Expired food - We loved this store when it opened but have now had a third bad experience so just cant take a chance and go back. We had ribs that were past their expiration and obviously spoiled when opened. We had Fresh Market shredded cheese that was green. Now weve thrown out 4 packs of "fresh" Cod which we purchased when they were having sale and froze the same day...two packs so far have reeked of ammonia - not taking a chance on the other two - just throwing away. Store did replace the ribs and cheese when I called about the issue....not going to bother calling regarding the cod...three strikes!!

Really love the market but hate the entitled customers who tend to shop here. Seriously, they will just cut right in front of you and pretend like they didnt see you. Dont let them get away with it if you see it. Anyway back to the market... Meat and seafood are always fresh. I love their little pumpernickel loaves of bread that they always are running out of. Good selection of organic food and other food items you wont find at your local Giant. Great nuts/candy/dried fruit selection. Fresh fruit and veggie selection could be better.

Nice grocery store with a very classy atmosphere. If you know your prices, you can get some good deals here. I definitely prefer this place over the nearby Whole Foods (aka "Whole Paycheck"). Also, the bakery is good if you prefer desserts that arent super sweet.

Love it here- I would always go to the one in Greensboro when visiting relatives and was so excited when they opened a location here. This grocery store has a lot of specialty and seasonal items. My favorite part is the barrels of fresh nuts, mixes, etc!

nice little market that reminded me of a Trader Joes. i wouldnt rely on them for my major shopping, but for quick meals and convenience, theyre great.
