So once again I set out to purchase a new car. Since I love Nissan I thought a Sentra would be a nice change of pace for my wife and I. Buying a new car is always an exciting event, the actual experience, not so much! This purchase would be number 11 and over the years I have seen it all. The crappy sales tactics, mind games and the many hours spent at the mercy of the dealership. Well that was all about to change when I received a call from a man by the name of Phil Snyder an employee of Nissan of Devon. I was attempting to sell my Nissan Versa privately and he had a friend who needed a good used car for getting back and forth to work. He inquired about the car and I answered his questions as honestly and accurately as possible. He told me he would speak to his friend and get back to me. I never expected to hear from him again. Long story short, I was very surprised when Phil called back and made me an offer on my old car. I then told him about my intentions of buying a new Nissan and that is when he stepped in and invited me to come to the dealership and take a look at the Sentras he had in stock. Oh boy I am thinking here we go! Everything he promised in the deal came to fruition. He was kind, considerate and not at all the typical car salesperson I had come to love over the years. I was dealing with a true professional who seemed to care about our expectations and what I thought. The staff was friendly, the GM came out to say hello and meet us. They even offered us lunch and made sure we were comfortable. Some one wake me I must be dreaming. In short, several hours later we were in our new car and driving off the lot. I must say I will always be a Nissan of Devon customer. What a wonderful buying experience I must say. I am not one to lavishly praise and I am one tough customer. Phil and the entire Nissan team realigned my expectations and set a new standard in customer service and value. I highly endorse Phil Snyder and the entire Nissan of Devon staff. I guarantee you will love the experience, the people and the car. These folks at Nissan know a customer is not an interruption of their work, we are the purpose of it. Super job Phil you have a customer for life. See you in a few years, the wife is already eyeing the JUKE!

Just wanted to leave a quick review after a few experiences that span a few years because I bought my Frontier 10 years ago, but not from them so I cant comment on the sales stuff... Im not going to go into details to keep this brief, and Im not a negative person, I just observe and sometimes post reviews... I would say that at least 3 times previously that I asked for an estimate for service/repair they misdiagnosed and quoted prices that were consistently 3 times more than what it actually was. However they get a pass because they addressed my recalls all at once and paid to have me towed in because of a failing ECM that Nissan had recalled. Im sure they got to bill NIssan for all those bills haha...In case theres any question, no one was ever rude to me there, nothing bad to say about the people I dealt with on a personal level. Recently I asked them to look at a driveshaft problem, they found a problem that needed addressing on the trans and it seems to have remedied the dashboard light CES, and they didnt pressure me about replacing the center driveshaft bearing, only suggested it couldnt hurt since everything else was replaced so I didnt disagree and no issues with the replacement. However, they didnt fix the driveshaft problem at all, but they didnt cause the problem and 2 mechanics before them couldnt fix it either. But i am disappointed that when I came to pick it up they actually acted like they fixed it (kind of amusing), instead of just telling me that they lacked the equipment to rebalance it, and that they would recommend finding a driveshaft specific shop, which I did a week later and now the problem is comepletely fixed. Again, they didnt cause the problem, coulda been way more honest about it though...Its too bad, because at 146k I was thinking of giving this to my son (once the problems were fixed) and maybe buying a new one here, obviously cant do that now, I"ll go back to Rothrock where I bought this one before... I would say just count on them being your typical dealer and be on your guard when/if doing business...I give them 3 stars for average dealer paradigm, 6/10 on the greed scale

Absolute waste of time, I would not recommend buying a used car from them at all. New cars could be a different story. The car I was interested in buying had some repairs issues that they said they would take care of. Every time they called or texted me back, they said the items were completed. I came in and only one minor repair was completed. So they flat out lied, because I specifically mentioned one piece of the bumper and the mechanic I paid to do a pre-purchase inspection also came up with issues. Those items were ignored. Later, the staff offered ZERO for my trade-in vehicle. Later $800. On the grounds that they wouldnt be able to sell my car. My car had less miles than the one I was going to buy even though its far older. It just passed state inspection and runs fine. Definitely not an $800 dollar trade-in. The guys on the floor do not seem to realize there are several apps available that show what specific model year and mileage vehicles are selling and trading in for a given mile radius. Credit goes to the owner for trying to get something going after I called back, but his terms were pretty bad. He said I would have to do the repairs myself out of pocket...why would I do that when he likely has the resources to do that cheaper than I could out on the street? Better to have the repairs done yourself and tack on a little extra then alienate customers. The lying and incompetence of the floor staff deserves a zero rating, but I give 2 stars to the owner for offering something less insulting. Those guys think they are operating in 1997 rather than 2017 and will lose him a lot of sales. In case anyone is wondering, I went out and test drove the same year and model at other dealerships and was offered far more for my trade-in. In fact, right around the range I was told on my smartphone app. Now Im deciding which one I will buy.

Horrible, awful experience with this dealer. We made out first visit to Devon Nissan showroom regarding an used car, but in the process their sales person showed us Honda Civic Hybrid. But said its blocked by someone else. But we requested for a test ride & showed up our interest to close the deal. They quoted 9,900 which included 1000 grand for their car prep charges, which they claim that its to service the car by making required repairs(changing tyres, battery, brakes etc). We trusted them and paid 500 as deposit . When we made our next visit we still found few issues leftout & they said they are working on them. As we werent happy with the pricing, as it was way beyond market value. We negotiated and got it for 8500. It was with a promise from them that car would be in a good shape with no repairs left. Today we went by getting our insurance, licence changed from Jersey to pensilveniya, got along our mechanic for pre purchase check, to make sure no major issues before we closed our paper work. But he found issues that has to be workedupon( filter, sparkplug, ABS codes etc). But their manager TIM says they dont do anymore repairs, your mechanic gave fake report ( He was awarded among Top 20 in philadelphia). Then we said either get these repairs done or remove the car prep charges, he was reluctant to do neither of them. He claims KBB value is senseless, other mechanics are not trustworthy, their showroom alone have best service equipment.. Etc We wasted lot of time, money, energy by dealing with these people. I dont recommend them at any cost.
