I dont even want to give them one star but I have to. My wife and I just moved and during the move our washer broke so we needed to get another one quickly because we have a lot that needs washing so we looked into getting a used one since the move cost us quite a bit of money. We found a washer on craigslist and it was from J and B appliances so I went to go buy it and it looked in decent condition and the person there seemed nice and told me how they put all new parts on it and make sure the washer is in great working order. When I got it home and hooked it up and my wife started to do a load of clothes the first thing was the water to fill the washer was just trickling out, then it was taking forever to fill and we realized it was stuck and the water level was not rising, so we wasted 45 minutes to an hour of water, we had to put it on spin cycle to drain it and then tried it again and it started to fill up finally. During the washing process it sounded like it was going to break and then it went into the spin cycle and it was shaking like crazy, which was what our other washer was doing and we decided to get a new one. So we didnt Not to mention the safety switch did not work when you lifted the lid. My wife called back and told them and they told her that all they could do is send someone out in 3 days to look at it or for me to bring it back that day to get my money back, which I was at work already and they closed at 2:00 pm and it was 1:00 pm when she talked to him and it would have taken me 2 hours to do everything to bring it back so I could not make it there. Then the guys came out to look at it and said it could be fixed but I did not want to just get it fixed because I was afraid it would just break down not to long from now, so I just wanted them to take it back and give me my money back. They said okay but I have to pay a $75 restocking fee which is just wrong since we did not even use it but we just said screw it and we paid it and I had to bring it back myself and leave work to do this. I would not recommend buying anything from them because I know it is used equipment but that does not mean it should be in such bad condition especially for what they charge. Im not saying all their appliances are in such bad condition but the one I got was. They should have just given us our money back since we did not get to use it. Also the technician had the nerve to tell my wife to not put any dents on the washer or throw it down the stairs before we brought it back. We are not like that at all and we never really ever complain about things unless we feel like we got ripped off or screwed over real bad. I really hate writing bad reviews but this whole experience just made my wife and I sick to our stomachs. We try to treat people how we would like to be treated and wish others did the same but I guess not in this case. I just hope they dont sell that washer to some other person.

I had Joe come out to do an assesment for a home insurance company. My cooktop had cracked. He decided , at my home , that it was a thermal crack and would tell the company this. My insurance company called later and reported that Joe ( who is the owner) told AHS I smashed the stove and it had not cracked during cooking. This is a complete lie. I saw the stove crack while I cooked. Joe also pressed hard on the top and cracked it furthur. After hearing from American Home Sheild, I called "Joe" He was beligerant disrespectful and rude. This is the scam- he gets to come out on assesment calls, makes a fast 60 bucks for 5 minutes work. doesnt do any repairs over 300 dollars ( an employee of his related this to me) and then gets more business from AHS. He seemed so nice when he was here, but save yourself a headache andcall someone else. No wonder he isnt a BBB member!

I purchased a smaller washer/dryer combo. Before I picked it up I decided to upgrade to full size units and wanted to go with a gas dryer. I wanted to put the money I already gave to them towards this. Well, they did not have any gas dryers. Only thing they would do was refund the money but with a 10% restocking fee. They did not have to restock it as I never picked it up. As they did not have any gas dryers and therefore couldnt give me what I wanted, I dont think a 10% restock fee was right. I paid it but I wont go back. And I will forever let people know of my negative experience. They have created a disgruntled former customer and I will never stop telling people about it.

Excellent Customer service! We recently purchased a stove and refrigerator for a rental property, the salesman who sold us our appliances was knowledgeable and was very attentive to our needs! He even told us how to "fix" a washer we had, told us to try that before buying a new one! Which he was exactly right! It saved us from having to spend the extra money! When the appliances were delivered the gentleman along with our original sales man, was more than wonderful. Our rental unit had a smaller door and they worked wonders getting everything in and in place! Appliances look and work great! We highly recommend them, and will be using them again in the future!

I will never recommend these guys to anyone!! I bought a washer and dryer set from them last May 2015, and havent even had them a full year-we r in Feb 2016, and the dryer didnt dry jeans the whole way unless u did two full cycles in it n the washer stopped spinning. I called to see what they would do for me since they were purchased there and was told it my warranty was out and it would be $150 for them to look at them!! Took them to another place to get fixed n the dryer needed a new thermostat and the washer needs a new transmission, lid switch, n coupler!! Thats almost half the price I paid for the set less than a year ago!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

The guys here were awesome. I was helped by the technician, he was very knowledgable about all the washers and after I explained my situation and family size he helped my wife and I find the perfect washer for us. After a small fee they brought it to my house, hooked it up and made sure it worked. They even gave me pointers on what I could do in my laundry room to fix my floor and stop the shaking. I will definitely be using their business again and again. On top of everything their prices are the best that you can find ANYWHERE in this area.

Stopped by to look after being in the hunt for a washer and dryer. I was bombarded by the sales guy since I was the only customer in the store. He had a guy in the back come out and work another sales tatic on me after I told him I wanted to wait. They were very, very pushy!! He was sticking sold stickys on the appliances that I looked at to try and make me feel quilty in case I changed my mind. Yard sale quality. They "refurbish" by painting over nicks and rust.
