Great beer selection! If you dont have the time to stop by a specialty beer store & are near this store, its worth a look. Less beer snobs prowl here, so you might find some unique & rare items, unlike of you went to Johns Marketplace or Belmont Station for example. The rest of the store is pretty phenomenal too. Far less pretension & "hipster-ness" than youd find at a New Seasons (which, unlike Market Of Choice, is no longer local), and much compares to or is better than. The bakery is wonderful - I dont eat bread often but I love the honey wheat bread, dinner rolls, and house-made oats - freshest tasting Ive had from any grocery bakery. Grab & Go section is nice, although I havent had much from it. Produce section can be a mess - on some visits some of the produce Ive required is all spoiled & Ive had to skip the produce. This is not usual, however. Its merely something that Ive experienced & I am stating factually. The rest of the generic grocery items are good & generally cheaper than youd find at an upscale grocer, they also carry Natural Directions which is a huge plus for me (cheap local & organic - YEAH!). Lastly, all the people that work here are kind & simply wonderful. Also, when lines at the cashier stands back up, I have NEVER seen ANYWHERE open up another cashier stand so quickly (or usually at all). TL;DR - this is a fun & nice place to visit with a great beer selection (for a grocery store), friendly staff, and amazing selection of everything we require weekly.

The place is great. The meat department is awesome. The prices, not so much. You can get great things there if you can afford to pay it all the time. Now, if you go there for items like healthcare items; RAW Garden of Life stuff, smoothies, vitamins, etc...the prices are comparable to places like New Seasons, sometimes cheaper. But, then you get some tea or apples, and the prices on those items are a dollar or two more than if you went to Fred Meyer. So, it all depends on what you want and what you need. If a specialty cheese then they will have it. If something like toilet paper? Go elsewhere otherwise you will pay out the noise, or butt.

This store located in the heart of West Linn, speaks to a crowd of pro-liberal yuppies... The moment I walked in I felt the need to wear hemp-made sandals and put dreads in my hair.... I felt like most the people there were either struggling novelists or starving artists.... as I perused the cheese display and overlooked the wine selection... I wondered what combo of local organic vintage would impress my secular humanist friends at dinner.... then I realized that the co-op/whole foods ripoff of a store was overpriced... I still however bought some beer there.

I had to wait for a prescription from the pharmacy inside Market of Choice, so I thought I would look for the few things I had on my grocery list while waiting. Their deli, bakery, produce and wine departments were very fresh and, obviously, very high quality. I didnt look at their meat department. However, everything else was extremely expensive, and there was very little selection. From cereals to soups, face wash to facial tissue (Kleenex). The only thing I found that was in the range of reasonable was the milk. A gallon of 2% was $2.89.

I have to say I order pizza from market of choice on a weekly basis in eugene. All 4 of them amazing pizza. We ordered a family size pizza absolutely horrible the crust is completely different my senses were not drove crazy by the amazing smell of garlic & basil(because there was none) under cooked & soggy. I ordered a side of ranch its pre made packages. Every other one I have been to made in house. Really disappointed. I guess I have to wait until I get home next week to get a good pizza.

Always an enjoyable experience ! Friendly HELPFUL staff who remember you, AMAZING variety of products to choose from, FABULOUS selection of wines, OUTSTANDING meat, cheese, deli and bakery departments....I L O V E shopping at Market of Choice ! ....p.s. My sister is envious. She doesnt have a M.o.C. where she lives. Whenever she comes to visit the first thing she wants to do is go grocery shopping.

This is a great place to find unique, local items (similar to Whole Foods, New Seasons). They have an excellent bakery with a variety of delicious pastries, gelato, and an espresso bar. There is also great seating! The one downside is that they are incredibly expensive. Their prices are very similar to Whole Foods and are quite expensive, even for generic non-organic items.

I called Market of Choice Ashland Oregon to ask them to deliver a care package to a student at SOU. The grocery manager Mike put together a package of soup, OJ, and cold medicine for our sick kid and had it waiting for a friend to pick up and deliver. No charge. He checked in to make sure the products were all what we needed. Super service and so welcome. Thanks!

To me this place is way to overpriced and way to expensive. If you want to shop here make sure you take out another mortgage or refinance your house first. I didnt really want to enter this store but I talked myself in to it. I will not recommend this store to anyone of my friends or family members.

Bakery and produce is great. Meat dept carries Painted Hills which is a local organic beef. Stay away from the older woman, Bobby as she cant seem to do what shes asked. How hard is it to get 3 tri tip steaks the same size, she gave me one 1/2 the size as the other two---messed up my cooking time.

A cross between a healthy grocery store and Safeway. I can find some of the stuff I want and so can they. I feel like MoC puts out the facade of being more health conscious than they are in reality (similar to my feelings on Trader Joes). All in all..... a good store that I frequent regularly.

This Market of Choice is larger than their location on Terwilliger and has a wider selection of items. Its a good mix of both organic and non-organic grocery items. The beer selection is good. One of my favorite things is that its well staffed, there is hardly ever a wait at checkout.

Not quite a new seasons but its almost as good and has a nice deli. Id like to see even more organic non-GMO options! Every one who works here is nice and its a very clean store. It is definitely on the upscale side of grocery stores and you do pay for that a bit.

I like the Produce and seafood and the beer selection is top notch. I quit shopping here because we cant get to the fish/meat counter before it closes, which varies better 6:30-7. Very frustrating for working class that dont typically get out of work until 6:30-7.

Cashiers are the best..unfortunately their prices are higher than any other stores around. Also they are usually out of the most popular foods later in the evenings..nice atmosphere and friendly staff are a plus..in a hurry and moneys no object its a great place..

I love this store for a few reasons. There are way over priced for most items, but their meat is outstanding and the prices are spot on. Much cheaper then other places. I go there for fair trade beauty products as well!! Nice people and clean store.
