I have shopped here once and it is my favorite asian store by far. I use to go to fubon or heit but what makes this place great are the prices, wide selection of different products and especially the customer service. While I was shopping, my hands were getting full and a young employee came by and offered me a basket. Also upon checking out, a humble woman asked if I found everything that I needed. I told her that I needed a hot pepper paste to make korean deobukki snacks. She said that they did carry it and she would grab me a container. Very thoughtful and nice employees. This store understands that exceptional customer service will keep shoppers coming back.

I go to this market nearly exclusively whenever I am in Portland (I live in Vancouver). They have the best prices around and the employees are so friendly. Never once have they shamed me for asking a question. And every time I go they give me a free item just to try as Im checking out. Sometimes they even have a couple choices to pick from. There are LOTS of snack items to try and it seems they get new ones frequently. But the most important thing to me is that they carry my very favorite white rabbit candies! Now if only they would bring back the rose milk they once carried, I would be an even more satisfied customer, if thats even possible (I adored that stuff)!

This is a great alternative to the FuBonn . . . prices are comparable or perhaps a few cents more but not significantly so. Whats nice here are the people running the place, who will take the time to walk you around to that elusive ingredient you seek, or even explain why one version of a bottled sauce is better than the next. Good luck with that at the FuBonn. Good selection of kitchen utensils and cooking tools as well. Just off 82nd, east side, just north of Foster Road intersection on Insley Street. Easy to miss, but that would be a shame.

Good customer service and a great selection of products. Their soy milk was a good deal and their prices were cheaper than Uwajimaya. (But more limited in regards to baked goods and prepared dishes.) That being said the customer service was better and we plan to come back the next time were in the area. My wife was a happy camper and enjoyed seeing products from Malaysia.

The people here are very helpful, the selection is great, and pricing on most items is hard to beat. After checking out the other oriental markets in the area, I can honestly say...this is the best overall shop in the greater Portland area. Highly recommended!

Excellent Asian grocery, not as large as the super mall up the road, but this one is better priced, and has more personable/friendly cashiers. I come here for rice if I cant make it to costco or want something new.

Avoid this store.. Old veggies on the shelves for too long period of time, frozen foods in the freezer stay on month after month.. YUCK!
