Prices are high compared to say, Fred Meyer in Sandy. Additionally, you should watch out that youre not buying expired food-- their rotation rate on the shelves is not as high as it could be. However, there are some shining points of this convenient local grocer. The beer selection is second only to some of the larger outlets. You can buy strongbow 6 packs as glass bottles. They usually have very good deals on wine as well. You cannot swipe your own card at check-out, which creates a bit of delay if youre in a hurry, because you have to interact with the touchpads more than youre probably used to. For quickest in n out, use cash.

Beer, beer, beer and more beer! In true Oregon fashion this place has an incredible variety in bottles, cans and on tap at the growler station. If youre spending time on the west side of the mountain this is your supply place. Prices are great for being in a tourist destination. This place also has just about everything you need food wise with nice fresh produce selections.

This is not the location and photo of Hoodland Thriftway. The location should be at the intersection of Hwy 26 and E. Welches Rd. The photo should look like a shopping center and grocery store. This photo looks like an auto shop. The directions show the location of an auto shop that is a mile or two east of the grocery store.

Great place to shop on the Fly however the prices are four times what youre going to pay anywhere else I suspect mostly to trap travelers from Portland going up to Ski Bowl or Mount Hood to enjoy the weekend or afternoon to help is good the store is clean but the prices are extremely high

Highway robbery. This place is expensive as can be! That being said thank goodness it is here. Without it driving to town every time you need an item would be a bummer. Staff seems a little shady almost like they hire anyone... some one was selling drugs out front, but its a store.

Actually really liked this place, was surprised, stopped here on our way up the mountain for a quick bite, store was not as big as it looks but had great friendly staff, a hot food bar, good fountain drinks, lots of cold foods, super clean too

Great place to stop for snacks. Bring a growler and fill up on beer or kombucha, lots of taps! I grabbed string cheeses, odwalla bars and jerky for two of us and spent like $3, plus the cashier was super friendly and theres public restrooms!

Everyone who works there is really nice and helpful. The prices are on the high side but they have a above average selection for a small town store. They also have a large selection on beer on tap and kombucha on tab.

Only grocery store in the area, and the last youll find on the way up to Timberline. Friendly staff with a pretty good selection, but it can be on the spendy side.

Every time when we are going to the Mt. Hood or Sunriver, we are stopping at this store. Love to buy very tasty sweet popcorn and raspberry Reeds ginger ale.

Nice small grocery store. I always buy my Sno Park permits here because the Ranger station just up the road is usually closed whenever I need it.

If you are local it is the only option. The stores prices are extremely high. The service just ok. Watch for out if date merchandise

For all the things you forgot when you were packing for your trip to the mountain. Public restroom could use a lot of work though.
