My mom & i went into the store on 6-5-2013. This time was the worst ive ever been treated there. It has been steadily getting worse as the years go on, since i first started going there about 5 years ago. Ive learned over the years to expect bad service & hope you get some good. I never expected for an employee to talk to my 67 year old mother like he did. He didnt care if we stayed & bought something or left. As a matter of fact he looked at us like he wanted us to leave. My mom wanted to see a necklace that was in the display case by the register. The sign says ask for assistance. In the meanwhile a very loud employee had stopped a customer after he made a donation so he could talk about a sporting game from the day before. The man was talking so loud at some points the cashier couldnt hear the woman she was helping. My mom motioned to the man that was talking very loud & making everyone uncomfortable if he could help her. He made a motion & continued to talk about the game, my mom said i need help to see the necklace id like to buy & it says to ask for help. His response to a 67 year old woman was WELL YOU DID, SO WAIT. In front of everyone he said that as loud as he could. Then he again went back to talking to the guy that wanted to go shopping for something. He was in an obvious hurry but the loud mouth employee didnt care he wanted to talk about a game the guy said he didnt even see. Then instead of coming & helping my mom he walked past us & gave her a dirty look. I was biting my tongue so hard. So after about 3 minutes or so he comes back walks past us again gave my mom another dirty look then went to the speaker phone so he could tell the store the rules in a very loud & rude manner. Then when we finally get to the cashier, shes slower than mud. She had got the necklace out for my mom to look at, so we were trying to tell her thank you but not this time maybe next & before i could say time she started talking to another person leaving the store. She stopped her to show her an outfit she found & want to see if she thought it was cute. In the middle of ringing us up she stops & starts pulling clothes out from under the cash register & holding them up to her self & saying so what do you think. The lady & her just started having a conversation about the outfit like we werent even there right in the middle of helping us she just stops. Then when the lady left she started to help us again. We were in shock. I put back the item i was going to buy but my mom really wanted the item she was buying thats the only reason why i dealt with his & her abusive attitudes. Ill never shop there again that was the last time. Its sad because they have some good prices & items. Thats why i would go back in the past & hope for the best.. I suggest new employees & management. Thats their only hope.

Great deals, HORRIBLE service! Though I come here weekly for some good deals (particularly either Tuesday or Friday, as most of their stock is 50% off, including all clothing), the people that run this place are beyond ghetto. Two Latinas, one pudgy teenager and one old lady trying to act like a teen (that act is not working for her!), work the register. Whoever you get, they wont help you right away (because theyre too busy having fun with themselves), they wont greet you, and theyll be gossiping meaningless stuff among themselves while they ring you up. I was just there today and the old lady kept talking about how "hungry" she was and how she "doesnt want to work" at the place anymore, whining about as if she was a brainless teen, like the other girl working there. At any other, more organized establishments, such behavior to customers will get her fired. Dont know if those two own/manage the place, but its time for someone new and more friendly and customer-service oriented to take charge. If customer service is your least important quality in a store, or if you dont care about it at all, then this is the place for you. (I will note that those two Latinas arent the only ones youll see running the register. I met one Latin guy working there, and he happened to greet me properly and ring my things up without making distracting conversation to anyone else. But I dont see that guy around that much. That could be the only time I had good service from this place.) This is the only deterrent about this place. The place has a great variety of clothes, shoes, housewares, and whatever else you need at great prices, which is the main reason why I still come back here on a weekly basis (thus my star rating). Its sad that the customer service of this place cannot match the great value of their clothes. If you want great cheap things AND great customer service, I recommend a Goodwill or the Thrift Town stores in Sacramento.

Pro-Surprisingly the clothes were really organized was easy to shop great prices! Con- the wait in line was obnoxious. I was fourth in line with 15 minutes to get to bank. Made it to the car at exactly the 15 minute marker. The cashier was holding 3 different misc. conversations besides helping the customer. She was friendly and respectful otherwise. Con- Cigarette smell from a guy smoking out front was stinking up the entire sales floor.

Ive been shopping at this thrift store for years. One of the best in the area. ALWAYS crazy sales, variety of womens clothes, even decent electronics and furniture, dishes. A little ghetto? yes. But the staff are helpful and the clothes are nice prices. No restrooms.

This place is a hidden gem. Its like the Goodwill, with a similar selection, but prices are often deeply discounted. I got three pristine-condition brand-name khaki slacks for $5 on 1/2 off day. New items are stocked every day.

I like that they offer discount everyday, but many items are still price high especially womens clothes --- the good thing is they offer discount. But it would be better if their price are low to begin with.

Great selection of clothing. Building and the presentation of goods appear and feel worn down, just the way youd imagine a thrift store to feel and look like. Good clothing prices.

This store is dirty, smells bad, is ridden with shady characters, has high prices and sells nothing special. The store was quite empty when I visited, too.

Good deals (lots if sales), variety of merchandise for the store size, but not always very organized.
