I live out on the Oregon coast so am an hour and a half away from the dealership. After recently securing a managerial position with the county, I found myself in need of a reliable car for the great amount of outreach required in my new role. The economic downturn destroyed my business, I had to return the home I had purchased that had serious systemic issues that I tried to remedy over the eight years I lived there, draining what reserves that I had as a single mother. I spent 3 years caring for a severely disabled partner who died in March and am currently living in his public housing unit awaiting my move closer to work. I was very upfront on the phone with the gentleman that I spoke with and he assured me that we would be able to "work something out." So my son and I got in the dilapidated PT Cruiser with insufficient tires and drove the hour and a half in the pouring rain to Springfield. When I got there, my income wasnt enough to secure a loan with $1000 down despite the fact that my current position pays approximately 1/3 the total cost of the vehicle per month. I became emotional and excused myself as they entertained having MY SON co-sign for me. I felt belittled and humiliated. I went outside and tried to collect my thoughts. My son approached me and told me that they could run my credit through Toyota to see if they would approve my loan. I told him, that if we left the dealership, we would NEVER RETURN. The man who dealt with us, Sam, came out and in front of a whole number of the staff (as if that were to intimidate me) asked me what they had done wrong. I kept my cool and looked him square in the eye, "YOU are part of the problem. I spend my days picking up the pieces of people losing it because big business and banks have been bailed out while the rest of us have been forced to go without. Now it is personal." (We could have died on the road chasing the fallacy of a car that was not to be). Despite our needs and the sacrifices we had made to get there, he told my son that Lithia Toyota would not deal with me... TRUTH? LITHIA,YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH! I will never return to a place where I was repeatedly reminded that the only thing that mattered was the arbitrary numbers assigned me by credit organizations who dont even know me and who feel fit NOT TO HOLD RESPONSIBLE THOSE PEOPLE WHO CREATED THE CONDITIONS WITH WHICH I AM FORCED TO LIVE.

Had a really great experience at Lithia. They were, first off, understanding that we had our kids there while my husband and I took turns test driving. They did not pressure us, as we went home and took the afternoon to weigh our decision. They had recently reduced the price of our Pathfinder to below blue book dealer price, so we didnt really negotiate but we figured that would be the case since it was truly an amazing deal. (Another dealership was asking 2 grand more for a Pathfinder 2 years older, same model.) We always check out a used car with our own mechanic, and even though this car was perfect, we did that after our purchase, just for peace of mind. It totally checked out with flying colors. Our mechanic (we love Joes Garage because they always give you the straight story) said congratulations, you got a GREAT car, which of course we knew but its always great to have that second opinion. Buying a car is a big deal, and its also worthy of mention that the follow up service has been exceptional since our purchase at Lithia. We got the extended warranty, and we have been really happy with our experience at the Nissan dealership already, as we needed a second FOB and a recall part for the passenger side airbag. Lastly, Lithia is SUPER fast. We had our kids there the evening we bought the car as well, and Steve in finance was great. Most people take the whole day to buy a car, once we decided to purchase, it took about ONE HOUR or so! They also beat out the interest rate for the financing we had pre-approved. So, add us to the list of happy customers. I will likely be posting this review on a few sites. We dealt with Keith, Cory and Steve and we are very happy with our choice of buying from Lithia.

I have purchased my last two vehicles at Lithia Toyota of Springfield and get 100% of my service done at the service center. I always have great service from the folks at Lithia (In the service center Alice and Matthew are awesome! They make you feel like part of the family when you come in for a simple oil change and make honest recommendations. This is the only service department I feel like I can trust!) I was really dreading car shopping after my 2008 Prius hit 205,000 miles and started to show some signs of its age- but Tim Mahn made the car buying process really fun! I admit I am one of those annoying customers that researches everything and asks a TON of questions! Car salespeople in my past experiences do not always appreciate getting the 3rd degree from a customer, but Tim was polite, upbeat, and quick to respond to every email I sent (and I sent a lot of emails). I worked with Tim for over a month before I bought my Certified Used 2011 Prius and at no point did I feel he was pressuring me to "buy today!" Tim was very thorough in his explainations when I had questions and addressed every concern I had- he even stayed after closing to give my husband and I a crash course (wrong choice of words?) on how to use some of the cool features of the new car! An enjoyable car buying experience with a salesperson who seems to genuinley care is so rare- I am recommending Tim to all of my friends and family members and even YOU who are reading this review!

Excellent customer service. No haggling and high pressure sales tactics. I completed my purchase in 2 hours including financing! It was the fastest, most efficient and most transparent car deal I ever made. The dealership is well equipped for customer comfort with a cafe, soft drink bar and coffee, flat screen tv with sports, and a sit down lounge area. No waiting for customer service! Email and internet response was swift with information and prices. They were honest and forthright and kept their word. The internet correspondence made the visit much more quick and efficient. Txting made things responsive and simple. Their on line video and photos of sale models was impressive and thorough. I would have liked a photo of the window sticker included however. I want to recommend Rodney Kellum as my internet contact and dealer salesman. He was eager to match any deal and worked hard to make it happen. He was the reason why the deal concluded in 15 minutes and the whole process only took 2 hours. Generous, accommodating and knowledgeable. He was especially effective in explaining the myriad computer controls, mobile phone technology and settings before I left the dealer. The manual is as thick as a telephone book for a small town, but a personal tutorial really helped. Overall Lithia Toyota of Springfield is a customer friendly dealer that will make car shopping hassle free and quick.

Price, customer service, and transparency- this is what made my experience at Lithia Toyota of Springfield a quick, painless...and actually fun experience. Did I mention I live in Alaska and found the car via the internet? I looked at numerous dealerships trying to get the 2015 Scion xB 686 I was looking for and ended up purchasing here. The quoted price was not only below MSRP, but it was the best deal anywhere I could find. I worked with Tim and Rodney and both were responsive, receptive, and honest. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. Prior to arriving, I ended-up wanting to add fog lights, and some other add-ons, and they took the time to provide me with a quote before moving forward, so I knew what the added costs would be prior to installation. When I showed-up, I had a tight turn-around to sign the paperwork and get the car to the shippers in Washington on the same day: all of the add-ons were installed, and the car was ready to go. Tim and Rodney proved to be good to their word having everything in order and ready when I arrived first thing. Rodney was there on the day of and was fantastic to work with in person too. I even enjoyed working with the Finance team and some of the support staff who helped to get the DMV paperwork in order since the car’s final destination was Alaska. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone, and I would definitely buy a car here again.
