Im am a mechanic and my dad has been having problems with his trucks alternator, So he bought one at Stuarts several years ago because they usually have the best price in town. He has had to replace it about 4 different times since for a couple different reason all because of defective alternator. So a couple months ago he had something draining his battery if it sat for a couple days and he didnt know what it was so he asked me to help, I found the alternator was draining 0.51 amps which is 10Xs the max allowable limit of 0.050 amps. So we returned it yet again to get a different one with the exact same problem, I told them about the problems he has been having and I had two "ASE Certified parts specialist" haha tell me that 0.5 amps was acceptable and to start it more often, I laughed in their face and demanded a refund. Got one from Baxters, drain was 0.009amps So that is about 5+ times He has had to drive to the store and 5+ times he has had to change is alternator, without any reimbursement for travel or labor. Moral of the story is you get what you pay for and poor customer service!!

I havent been there for long time !! But I remember when I first started going there it was in late 60s early 70s I would drive 40+ plus miles to go buy parts.. Because their Service and Price was great !!! I looking to go there maybe next few days to buy some parts for my 1983 Ford Ltd!! Its neat to see that are still in business after all these years!! These guys probably have the best selection of lubricants and fluids in the area. Theyre the only shop in town selling Castrol Synthetic DOT 4 brake fluid (formerly GT LMA), and for less than half of what Amazon charges. They carry Castrol, Torco, Mobil, Redline, Royal Purple, SuperSyn, and ton of oddball brands Ive never heard of. Bonus: taco truck in the parking lot.

Always top notch customer service, best prices and in-stock parts. Last time they did not have an item they gave me the name and phone number of where I could get it. I have been going to Stuarts for the past 20 years and always have a good experience there. It is further from my house but always worth the drive. Highly recommended.

They sold me the wrong bulb after going home and figuring that out I went all the way back 10 min after close he tells me they cant help me there just employees I just wanted the correct replacement now I will have to make three round trips for a 2.99 bulb NICE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WONT BE GOING TO STUARTS NOW!
