Absolutely thrilled with my experience at ThoughtCrime Tattoo. Johnny was able to fit me in for a last minute appointment during my trip to Portland. The shop location and set up is great- big, open, natural lighting- super pleasant place. Everything is very clean. I went in for a tattoo with some vague ideas, on an impulsive whim- which, of course, is not a generally a favorite of tattoo artists :) Johnny helped me figure everything out- my design, placement, everything. He was so thoughtful, patient, kind, and professional! Johnny did an outstanding job on my piece. He talked me through everything, had a light hand, and the finished product was more than I could have asked for. Johnny also covered the piece in second skin to keep it clean and healing for a few days- I love this, so much better than the usual methods Ive encountered as far as bandaging/post-treatment. Judging by what I saw online and in the shop, the other artists look great as well! Ill definitely be coming back in the future to have more work done here. I see absolutely no reason to go anywhere else!

Im typically skeptical of an artist who is immediately available for a walk in. However Mike was available due to a cancellation and was able to see me that day. He was very cool and professional. He does great work and Im grateful he was available after all. I hope to make an appointment for more ink in the future. The studio is clean and has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Mike at Thought Crime if youre looking for a new artist.

Best tattoo experience Ive ever had! They are the most friendly and talented group of artists Ive ever come across, especially my artist Jake Pooler. They are also very knowledgeable about the healing process and have given me the best techniques for successful healing I have ever used. Ive gotten work done at different shops all over the country and I wouldnt think of going anywhere else after going to Thought Crime.

Had a fantastic session with Danny. First tattoo and a walk in, had an overall great experience. They were all friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them, the artwork I saw done on someone as well as the works in progress show that all these artists have true talent.

Thought Crime is probably one of the best tattoo shops Ive ever been to. Danny Clave is my tattoo artist for my current sleeve work and I am so happy with it. He is by far the sweetest tattoo artist with the most bad ass tattoo designs and awesome works of art. Recommend.

JUST had my tat done here. Jake is awesome and does really clean lines. I like jow the building was secure and the space was clean, open, and uncluttered. I liked that it was Custom ink only. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended :)
