So I was hesitant to go into this establishment, just because of the mixed reviews I read on here. I decided to give it a try though. I have personally seen some of the work, and most of it was pretty good. So we get here and we where greeted promptly and professionally. 1st problem, the artistist that was "up next" tried to pass off to another artist and vise versa. Took a few minutes for them to decide who was going to work. So as the artist was getting ready, I had a few questions about work that I needed done. Instead of grabbing an artist, the person up front, who everyone knows is NOT an artist, but a titled receptionist, answered them. Then questioned my story about a tattoo that I had that wasnt completeled like I did something wrong because it wasnt finished. So, no big deal, not too enthused about this place yet. So I start looking at the work on the walls. Alot of the displays....really good work, look at their pricing...come on. I got an entire 1/2 sleeve done, looks very good, for less than they are charging for a 3-5 inch tattoo. $120/hr, no problem, about average. So we get an estimate for the tattoo we came in for....$100-120ish. Thought to myself, that is very high, but were here, lets do this. Takes the artist 10 minutes, no joke. (tattoo was about 3 inches, all outline, no color, no fill in) When it was done, artist said, Ill go $85, wasnt as bad as I thought. So throughout the entire 10 minutes, I had asked the artist about starting another sleeve 3 times! 3 times! I was 100% ignored, guess it was because I wasnt the one getting ink. 8 of those 10 minutes was spent remembering the drunk slumbers of the other people in the shop. (we pretty much got put on ignore). So one more time, on the way out, I tried to ask some information. Again, got rushed out of the door and ignored. I heard really good stuff from people from work, but my experience was crap. I dont think my sleeve will get done here. I dont know who Saad is, but I wish he was there. His work was exactly the quality I was looking for, and it seemed like the artists may be a bit intimidated by him by the way they where speaking of him. Is he the owner/boss? Not sure.

Please do not get your ink at this place, un less you want to end up with a really bad tattoo that will require you to spend endless amounts of money in tattoo removal sessions. I went in about three months ago and asked for a personalized tattoo. Brought in my design idea and was expecting the artist to work with it and give it some substance. I showed up for my appoitment and the place was still closed. It was few minutes past 12 pm. I called, but as I was leaving a message they opened the door. Then the big adventure started. The artist placed the design( which was a copy of my idea, not an artistic version of it) on me and was explaining that once he will start working it will look more like what I had in mind( an actual tattoo, different shades of gray and black). By the time he was done, I ended up with this egg like shape running from my lower back into my buttocks( which I never intended to have tattooed) that I am supposed to make believe it represent the ying and yang symbol. May be in Milwaukie, OR. Pussycat tattoo is rather a place where you go to get tattooed if u are stoned or drunk. I was neither but I sure learned my lesson. Bad art, bad experience.

I met with Matt to discuss a custom tattoo and he did not pay much attention or appear to take any interest. Talk about anti-social, this guy does not smile or joke and puts off dark vibes. When I explained specifically what I wanted he nodded, but was not listening. About 2 weeks later I came in to see the design, which was backwards (due to not listening because twice I told him which way it should face), much of the detail was not what I asked for, and it was like he designed what he wanted and ignored what I wanted. When I told him the detail was not what I asked for (and not even close to matching the picture I gave him as reference), he appeared aggitated and scheduled me another appointment a week out. I lost my $40 deposit and went to an awsome place called Infinity Tattoo. When I read the bad reviews about attitude at Pussycat, I think they are referring to Matt. I went to Infinity tattoo where they took interest, asked questions, and designed an amazing tattoo.

Went in on a random day because I had finally figured out the tattoo I wanted in my head and my little sister had gotten a tattoo from them. Was lucky to find out that they werent too busy that night and would most likely be able to get me in that night. Explained to the front desk guy what I wanted done, he found the artist he thought would best turn my ideas into a perfect reality. The artist I got was Rose, who actually had done a tattoo for my little sister, and she drew up a design off of my concept. It was exactly as I had imagined in my mind, probably even better. The experience in whole was amazing. Being that it was a slow night, the other artists would come by to check the progress and usually spark an interest and/or fun topic. The people are great, the art is amazing. Couldnt have had a better tattoo experience. Highly Recommend!

Rose is absolutely incredible! I went in, not understanding the tattoo process of making an appointment, giving the artist a day or two to draw it up....I went in needing the tattoo done that day. She worked hard, sketching out the whole tattoo for me. Then, when I was quoted 350 for the tattoo and I only had 250, she helped me make very small changes that did not affect the design of the tattoo and only charged 250. Her art was beatuiful. I will proudly display it for the rest of my life. She was kind, funny, and understanding. I loved how the artists joked around and made me feel comfortable. Im already planning my next tattoo, and I will be going to her. I am so impressed.

I wandered in, looking to get something put on my arm but was not sure what; I was impressed by the artistry of the tats and my children quickly chose my tattoo. Tom was great! He totally listened to what I said, was very conscientious and showed concern about my level of pain (which was not high because he is professional and careful!). Everything was done according to mandated health standards and I felt safe with this establishment. Also, the entire staff there was professional and fun to be around and the place was well lit, which I think is important. My tattoo experience was awesome! I am going in very soon so Tom can do my next tattoo, as well!

I came in without an appointment and Erik managed to squeez me in! I showed him a picture of what I wanted (which I thought couldnt get any more perfect) and when he showed me the tattoo he had drawn, it was 10 times better than the original! He was super funny and friendly and made me feel really comfortable, which was great because I was really nervous (first tattoo). Im in love with my tattoo and I will definitely be coming here for future tattoos. Thank you Erik!!
