I am very happy with Portland Florist Shop... Lynne (the owner) called me personally to tell me that the flowers WERE delivered to St. Vincents Hospital as requested but my supervisor from work who I was sending them to had already been discharged. Lynne was extremely helpful and nice to me. I work night shift and I am sure I was not making a ton of sense to her on the phone. Unfortuatnely I did not have my supervisors address and no one at work did either. I asked for her to just drop them at my work and she said that was fine. Lynne never asked me for more money which I was assuming I would have to pay since that was clearly my mistake not hers. She was very helpful. Later, I was able to get the address to my supervisors house and called Lynne back asking if they could take them there instead and again she was very nice and understanding and said "sure" never asking me for more delivery money. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have someone repsond this way especially when this was a VERY stressful and emotional situation with my supervisor and friend having a heart attack. I was so very pleased with her customer service. The flowers are amazing and beautiful and look just like the picutre that I ordered from her web site. I will be using her again and telling all my co-workers and friends to never use anyone else. Thanks Lynne! You made a very hard situation easy! I appreciate it so much and you are a true artist when it comes to floral design. Thanks so much! As far as the negative comments left below... I read them and they are very hateful... I think people get caught up in too much detail and also too much emotion and then take it out on an easy target - the florist. People need to realize that this is a business and she is giving good customer service and providing exactly what she says she is going to provide. I wish people would not attack small business owners like this - they are after all the backbone of America. Thanks again Lynne! A satistfied customer in Corbett, OR.

I am a very unsatisfied customer, who was treated with no respect. On 1/11/12, I ordered white and red roses for my wifes funeral held on 1/14/12. On the reciept it clearly says "Spray red and white roses." When the flowers were delivered on 1/14/12, they were not the flowers I ordered, they were white roses and red carnations. Because the florist was closed on Sunday, I took the flowers and the reciept back to them on Monday and asked for them to refund my money to my credit card, but the owner Lynne began yelling and told me to leave. She then proceeded to call the police. The police showed up and gave me two options, #1 Take the flowers and leave now. Or #2 Be arrested for trespassing. I tried to get my money back for the mistake she made, and was almost arrested for confronting thier mistake. That is entirely wrong on her part. The owner Lynne said she has been in the florist business for over 30 years. I have caught her in several lies and she was extremely dis-respectful and dis-reguarded me and my wife, god rest her soul. If Lynne has been in the florist business for over 30 years, she should know how to treat a customer properly. I believe that it is very obvious that she doesnt know how. With further research I have discovered a simular pattern of disrespect, shauty business practices, as well deception in thier products. To confirm, you can research them and complaint against them through the BBB website, where there are simular complaints against them for customer abuse and unfair trade practices. I have since disputed the charges to my credit card, and have filed a complaint with the BBB, the consumer affairs, the Attorney General, the news media, have taken my business elsewhere. I also continue to advise others to do so as well.

I was very disappointed by the service I recieved at Portland Florist Shop. Its not an option, but, if I could, I wouldnt have given them a star at all! My mother passed away last year, and we held the Memorial Service for her on January 14, 2012. I had ordered a large bouquet of white roses with increments of 3 red roses spread throughout (to be the main backdrop of the Service), and when they were delivered for the Service, the flowers were all wrong! They had brought me white CARNATIONS and red roses. The receipt CLEARLY stated that I had ordered red and white ROSES. We didnt use the flowers for the service, and everything felt so out of place. We went to return the flowers, for a refund, the following business day. And I was chased off their property; and the owner called the police. And the police forced us off of their property. And I couldnt get a refund from my credit card company because the Florist did not take the flowers back. We have since succeeded with a refund to my credit card, by re-contacting them and re-submitting all the receipts and information to them. This whole experience has been a very large headache. I will not come back here, and I will definitely NOT recommend them to anyone ever!! I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau(BBB) after the fact, and found that Portland Florist Shop has a history of this sort of treatment of their customers. Its not worth your time, and not worth your money. NOTE to OWNER: There is no way to Justify this to your customers. You treat people disrespectfully and do not take their requests seriously.

I stumbled into this floral shop after buying flowers from another place that I wasnt pleased with. I went in to see if they could wrap the flowers that I bought for someone who just lost their baby and I was denied. I wanted to pay just to make them look presentable and was still denied. I asked to speak to the person un charge, and she saud because I didnt buy flowers from her she cant do it. Then proceeds to say "its like buying a burger from somewhere else and going somewhere else asking for a different bun". I was really appalled by the service. She had no sympathy and then said I can help you if you buy our flowers. I said thank you and left. If I knew about this place, yes I would ha e bought their flowers, but she then touched my flowers and said theyre dead already. Ill never do business here with such rude customer service

I did not see flowers I ordered and did not get shipping/delivery info, so I was very nervous especially after reading numerous negative feedback left by unhappy customers for other flower companies. This was the reason I decided to order directly from a local florist. I finally called and I was told by the recipient flowers arrived and looked beautiful. They were delivered on time (the same day I ordered, within hours of my order actually!!), very impressive. The price wasnt cheap, the offered 20% off discount did not work, but its ok since everything turned out great. Thank you very much! I will be ordering from Portland Flower shop again. Placed second order on Mothers Day, flowers were delivered the same day, thank you very much!

I had a sudden, urgent need to send a supportive gift to my fiance while I was in Pennsylvania. Not knowing the Portland area, I Googled and contacted Portland Florist Shop. They were extremely helpful and courteous with all of my questions and concerns, and ultimately had my order delivered before the promised time. The florist could have easily dismissed my request or provided a lower-quality product, but I was extremely impressed by the services and gifts provided. This will definitely be my go-to florist for all my future needs. Thank you so much!
