I have had my Primo for about a year - I love it...when it is working. I bought the Primo last June - 2011 and the second time I used it, the inside ceramic shell cracked in two pieces. It took about a month and a half to get a new shell and cast iron ash grate - so much of the summer months were spent without having my Primo available to me. I purchased the Primo from Northwest Natural Appliance Center in Portland Oregon. When the new shell and ash grate came in, Northwest Natural Appliance Center said I would have to come and get it, they would not deliver it - wow, horrible customer service. The Primo worked great up until mid June of 2012 - I was cooking Pizza, the grill was hot and I opened the lid and the bands came off the lid and the lid fell back and broke the top of my Teak table. The bolts that hold the bands on were bent and needed to be replaced. I contacted Northwest Natural Appliance Center and told them what happened and they said they would order the parts, including a new Teak table top. Several weeks later they called and said that I could come down and get the parts – I talked with the supervisor and convinced them that they should deliver it to me. He said they would and would install the new table top and fix the Primo bands. Several days later, Northwest Natural Appliance Center delivered the parts. The guy who delivered it told my wife, that he wasn’t going to put the new table top on or fix the Primo – he was told to just drop off the parts. Later when I got home, the table top was there but they didn’t deliver the bolts for the bands. So I called them and they said they would send the bolts which they did about a week later, unfortunately, the bolts were the wrong size. Needless to say, I am very frustrated with Northwest Natural Appliance Center, much of my summer is passing (again) without being able to use my Primo and they have done nothing to make me feel that they care at all about my issue. It’s almost the end of July and I still don’t have a working Primo, I’m not sure when Northwest Natural Appliance Center will get me the correct bolts so I can get the Primo up and running again.

I purchased a fireplace from here in October of 2014. Shortly after being professionally installed (approx. 6 months) the unit would not start. NWN sent someone out to service it, it started working again. Since then they have been out an additional 3 other times for the same issue and refuse to replace it. Today I woke up to it once again not starting! This is five times in 2 years! Paid over $4k for this unit. Go anywhere else follow up service is awful product they are supplying is garbage......

NW Natural Appliance center was very busy when we arrived but Matthew helped us right away, he answered all our questions & took a lot of time to help us find exactly what was needed. The show room is beautiful and every detail is displayed clearly, so if you are just browsing, you can effortlessly. The entire staff is great, courteous, helpful & smart. Great place to go.
