I have been going here for about 15+ years now. I have watched them expand their building, selection of eye wear, and their staff. I love the fact that they stay open later so those of us with busy work schedules, can still get quality care after hours. Dr. Matthew Perry is wonderful, knowledgeable and patient. You can ask him anything, and he will take the time to explain it in easy to understand language. They always seem to have some new equipment that takes a better picture of my eye, which is really cool in high resolution. The staff is warm and friendly you just never feel stressed when you are there. Their selection of frames also seems to grow. Paul is very helpful in selecting just the right frame for you, and can explain all the options as well. Carol is great. I think she keeps everything running. She keeps me reminded about my appointments, as well as being able to tell me if Im going to look good or not with my new frames. This is simply the best place to go in my opinion.

My family has been going to Hillsboro Vision Clinic for over 15 years, and the only way to describe the service and staff is outstanding. Though we no longer live in the area and after trying some of our local optometrists, we still prefer to drive 4 hours to see Dr. Perry for several reasons. First and foremost, Dr. Perry is very knowledgeable and thorough in his examination and listens to what we have to say. He explains what he is doing and his findings in laymans terms. He goes above and beyond expectations to ensure that we get the best quality eye care. He has been instrumental in the early detection and arrangement for treatment of eye issues for some members of our family. Another reason for coming back to Hillsboro Vision Clinic is the staff. They are nice, helpful, and accommodating. I strongly recommend Hillsboro Vision Clinic to anyone looking for eyecare.

I had blur vision and i had contacted this hospital. I did not get any resolution for my blur vision but still I have ended up paying lot of money. one of the worst hospitals I have eve seen. Please do not ever visit this hospital. I have a separate vision insurance and they still billed it under Medical since Doctor Clement does not come under my vision insurance network. Now, my vision insurance company says that they have not billed us so we can not do anything here. I spoke to them multiple times and still hospital people not billed to my vision insurance. really really really worst hospital. please do not choose this hospital for any reason. I wanted to give 0.0001 star rating but i dont have this option here. Please stay away.

During a routine eye exam, several years ago, Matt noticed a spot on my retina. We watched it for a period of time and about a year ago, Matt was concerned enough to refer me to a Retinal Specialist who continued to monitor the situation. A few weeks ago, the spot was determined to be an ocular melanoma. Thank goodness for the technology Hillsboro Vision has made available to their clients as it is very likely the reason we caught this so early. The outcome is yet to be determined, but my thanks to Hillsboro Vision for being there... They have arranged Specialists, and second opinions, and worked with my insurance, and have been genuinely concerned with my well being. Thanks Everybody!

I was a new patient at Hillsboro Vision Clinic and I will definitely continue to go there when needed. The reception was staff was courteous and friendly and the hours for appointments are very convenient. I have been to many other eye clinics and have always had some difficulty with them, such as unfriendly staff or waiting a long period of time to see the doctor. But at Hillsboro Vision Clinic I didnt have to wait very long at all to see Dr. Perry and the appointment didnt take an excessive amount of time. I felt like he explained what was going on in the appointment very well, which no other doctor has done for me before. I would recommend this clinic 100%

I used to think this place was awesome until I began having problems seeing with their glasses. I would go back and they would "check" the prescription to see if they were done correctly. They would always say that they were done correctly. This happened to me numerous times but after awhile I noticed a change in the way they would talk to me. The went from being nice to being absolutely unprofessional. I would highly recommend people to go some place else. These people appear to be nice people at first but when you go back because you are having issues, they become rude. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!

During my last visit (02/15/2014) Dr. Kenyon and the staff at Hillsboro Vision Clinic went above and beyond the usual customer care and service. I had lots of questions about contact lenses vs glasses and about my unique issues I face at work (10+ hours in front of multiple computer monitors) and they took the time to explain the pros and cons of both glasses and contacts in reference to my lifestyle. They even contacted my insurance company to verify my options for glasses and contacts and how each would effect the other on my insurance plan. I cannot wait to pick up my new glasses. I was in desperate need of glasses and chose HVC from their reviews. My initial appt. was a good experience. Rachel was awesome as was the staff. I got my new glasses within 2 weeks and they worked great until I got home and went to take them off and they broke. Took them back the next day and am still waiting for my glasses. I contacted them today and they still cant tell me when my glasses will be ready. I feel like I have just been shoved to the back burner and am very disappointed after spending over $500.00 I have nothing to show for it and I still cant see!

Dr. Perry is an excellent optometrist – the sophistication and variety of equipment used to check my eyes is unlike any other eye doctors I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many. Ive seem him twice now for my annual eye exam and to get contacts. Very thorough, high-tech, professional, clean, and easy to book an appointment (for me, within about a week of calling). Dr. Perry is a nice man, and he explains what he’s doing and his recommendations very well. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Just went in for an exam with Dr. Andreason. He was very thorough...and totally helpful and informational when addressing my concerns. He had a box of toys in this office and was so patient with my 1 yr old and made accommodations for me knowing that I was nursing. The office staff were also very friendly, and I was able to get in for an exam on the same day. They are also very technologically advanced with a retina photo machine that I have never seen elsewhere.

Clean, friendly, helpful, amazing staff! My Husband , son (infant) and I had the plusher of going to get our eyes checked here. They staggered our appt so we could each stay with our son when the other went back to get checked out Then while weere looking at frames, there was a staff member that kept him happy for us so we could pick our frames with ease! I will 100% be going back year after year for my check ups!
