We came up from Southern Oregon to shop for a Ford Ranger 4wd Manual Shift to tow behind our Motorhome. Located a few in the Gladstone area, went to Pioneer Auto after we found a post online and was very happy with what we found. The salesman Bill Young couldnt have been anymore pleasant to deal with, we forgot our hitch receiver and the 2005 Ranger needed carpet mats, he gave us those for free! Were very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend anyone needing a vehicle to check out Pioneer Auto Wholesale first. It was worth the drive!!

Bought two used cars in last two years. Satisfied with what i got. Process is easy and fast. Jim is a fair dealer. With any used car purchase, my experience is you get out what you put in. Be informed and realistic - if youre only paying $3,000 for a used vehicle from ANYONE, odds are high you will put another $2,000 into it in the next 18 mos....thats just reality. (Probably a lot more if youre buying on Craigslist) I will come back for a third buy no problem.

I first saw an ad they posted on Craigslist. I visited and bought an automatic 05 Mitsubishi Lancer O-Z Rally Sedan with 82,000 miles on it for $5200. The dealers had all relevant car records (Carfax; recent Overall Safety Check; new front brake pads and rotors). I paid a mobile mechanic to look at it from Mcfarlands; he couldnt find anything wrong with it and afterwards approached the staff and requested to buy a car from them himself.

Paid $4000 for a Mini Van here Oct 2015. Its now Feb 2016 and Ive already had to put $2000 into it to keep it running. I just had to replace the manifold last week because there was a HOLE in it!!! Ive never spent more than $1000 on a used car so I thought this one would be great and I wouldnt have to put tons of repair money into it. Absolutely Horrible!!! If used cars could be lemons they sold me a rotten one!

Ive bought many cars over the years and this transaction was by far the best. Jim is friendly and, most importantly, honest. He made the whole process so simple and smooth that I thought maybe I was imagining it. I bought a car for a fair and reasonable price and the paperwork went so efficiently in the end that it was over before I knew it. I highly recommend this dealership!

Nice guys, nice price. Never felt like an upsell. Minor hiccup when I found out my car was registered in Washington (trade in that they didnt want to register if it wasnt going to sell). But they talked to my credit union Onpoint and had everything taken care of in a few days. Bought in 2015, still driving today.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Took the car to a shop to be inspected and they found that Pioneer Auto had tried to hide over $3,000 worth of damage. Tried to sell me an absolute lemon. ALWAYS have a car inspected before you buy!!
