WARNING DO NOT USE GIG HARBOR MOTOR COMPANY!!! FACT #1. I bought a 2004 ford F150 June 2016 it had 145,000 miles for around $11,700 FACT #2. Dan Thompson told me this is a long lasting good running truck FACT #3. This Sept 2016 I called Dan and asked him what he would do for me since the engine blew in 5,000 miles and less than 90 days. FACT #4. Dan told me I bought the car as is and was extorting him and hung up on me. In fact I was just asking him to be a Gentleman and help on the bill. FACT # 5. I just paid Sanderson Ford in Glendale Arizona $9993.16 on Sept 9 2016 to replace the engine on the Ford F150 Dan thompson sold me from Gig Harbor motor company, it has 150000 miles now. I am warning all people beware of this used car lot Gig Harbor motor company. Do not trust Dan Thompson he is not trustful for selling me a 2004 F150 that blew the engine. He misrepresented me on this purchase saying it was a long lasting good running truck. Dan will not even offer to pay $1 towards my $9993.18 dollar bill as of today. If Dan decides he wants to own up to his misrepresentation on the Ford F150 I will update this review. WARNING DO NOT USE GIG HARBOR MOTOR COMPANY!!! UPDATE Sept 14th Well my review only has proven the truth. Dan replied to tell yet another Lie from a USED car salesman. I never told Dan Thompson to pay up or I will give a bad review. What I said to Dan during our conversation was that I have not yet posted a review of your company. This reply from Dan is yet another attempt to cover his trail of deceptive practices. Do not trust Dan Thompson from GIG Harbor Motors. My review is based only the facts of my experience. If Dan was such an honest man businessman he would back up his product and try to resolve this issue with the client. Instead he is publicly posting more lies to back up himself. If I was really extorting Dan I would be asking him to pay me a large sum of money not the Ford engine repair bill. If Dan really has 40 years in the industry he should have known to never buy that Ford F150 in the condition it was in and then try to sell it to me. Google 2004 for F150 cam phaser engine failure.

I purchased a 2003 Silverado 2500 HD 4x4 pickup from Dan at Gig Harbor Motors back in Aug 2014. The truck had 160k on it but looked very well taken care of. Dan was a pleasure to deal with and charged $0 doc fees etc. It has been 2 years and 8K miles driven and I have not had a single problem with the truck. No I dont drive it a lot of miles but it has been great. Purchasing this truck from Dan was by far the best experience I have had with a used car buy.
