Edit: I have found myself having to still patronize Animal Crackers and since my review 8 months ago I have found that Animal Crackers has done nothing but treat me, and the people I know with warming hospitality and knowledge. Animal crackers still remains the most stocked store of actual pet friendly products. These products are often researched by the employees and as such they possess very informative knowledge about the brands carried; this information includes recalls, formula information, and usually personal experience. I also respect that Animal crackers will pull products if they are found to be fraudulent, change formulas (for the worse), and/or recalled. Pricing in the store is rather good for the products they carry (too of the line). That combined with the peace of mind that anything I grab at the store is safe, makes the store a great place to shop for your furry companions. I have regained my love for Animal Crakers. Perhaps I was too harsh with my previous review but I will own it and leave it. Old review: Used to love the store. However, as time has gone on the employees have become elitist and act as though they own the pet scene in Corvallis (outside of the store as well, in a class I had). Animal Crackers spreads misinformation on some of the products they carry/dont carry; along with misinformation about local businesses, as I found out. Sad I really loved this place, Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

Staff is so friendly, helpful and professional! Ive been taking my cats to have their nails trimmed for the last year, and every staff member who has helped me has been very gentle and kind with the cats, even when that means that the nail trims take a little longer. The store has a wide variety of healthy food, litter and toy options, and the staff are always willing to talk you through the options and to give advice about how to cope with problems that crop up as pet owners. I love this store, and always look forward to going in! They even keep track of all of your proofs of purchases for you!

Great place!!! Their staff is actually knowledgeable about animals unlike so many of the other pet stores Ive been to and their product selection shows that they really do care about animals. No sugary yogurt treats for bunnies and they actually consulted a vet for all of the products I buy from there (mostly bunny food because they are the only ones that sell oxbow brand pellets in corvallis). They also have some cool products for dogs and cats such as puzzle boards or calming treats and scents that a really helpful.

Best Pet Store EVER! I always go here for food, toys, treats, leashes, etc. The staff if friendly, know their stuff, and can request things for you if they dont normally carry them. I love bringing my cat in (they do free nail trimming, with 5 dollar donations to Heartland Humane Society requested). They even have little bags of their different foods, so you can try one before buying the whole bag! Need a pet store? This ones for you!!!!

Fair prices on food, and a good selection of high quality pet food. I like the fact that they dont carry anything other than high quality pet food, and offer many options in terms of quality and price. Many of the people that have assisted me are very knowledgeable in the diet of cats and dogs, and can point you in the right direction. They also have samples of food if you want to try something new or give them a little variety.

I have been buying pet treats and toys here for a few months, but purchasing pet food at the "big box" pet store. Wont be doing that anymore. Not sure what was going on at Animal Crackers today, but there were pet food reps from all over handing out free samples and visiting with customers. Animal Crackers even provided treats for the humans--coffee and cookies from Coffee Culture. Yummy! A really nice day.

I love this place. They are so helpful and knowledgeable and everyone is so nice. They have a great selection of brands and while their prices might be a dollar or two higher than the big chains it is worth it to fund a local business, and really their prices arent THAT much higher. I also love their rewards program, it is great to earn a bag of free food from time to time. Overall, this place just rocks.

I just adopted "Ginger", a 9 year old cuddly sweet female cat. She has fit in so well and is such a love. The people at Animal Crackers were so helpful and had taken such good care of Ginger. Tina is very knowledgeable and taught me about the different foods for pets. Paying a lot of money for food doesnt mean it is the best for your pet. Thank you staff for all your help - I will be back.

Great high quality good selection. Discounts when you are a member. Automatic 10% off case of wet food. Friendly staff. Plus, they are a local business with healthy roots in our community. They do a lot for the humane society and house/care for cats awaiting their forever home. By supporting local businesses like this one, that give back to their community...we all win!

Very helpful staff, especially Tina. They really know the sources of the food and drop brands which begin producing in unknown locations. Food is producer and ingredients come from the USA , Canada or other reputable sources. Great variety of food toys leashes and jackets. I have been teh ir customers for the past 15 years.

Very friendly and spot on with pricing for my dogs food. They are the only ones around that carry Orijen and Acana I could find so I travel an hour round trip just to purchase it from them. Very friendly staff. If you are looking for a great selection of high quality foods for your pets this is the place to go.

If you take pet ownership seriously, shop here. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and do their absolute best to help you find a good product for your pet. They offer amazing quality food for dogs and cats, plus lots of miscellaneous gear you might need that other box stores simply dont have.

Best Pet Store in Corvallis. Weve only been there once, but we will definitely go again. They have an awesome toy selection, and our puppy loved the bulk sweet potato treats we got her. They are friendly and welcoming, and the store is clean and cheery. I would highly recommend visiting!

Its better than the big box store in town, but you would be better served, price-wise and expertise-wise by going to the local feed store down by the university. Staff at Animal Crackers really dont know as much as they pretend, owner is less than helpful. But, you could do worse....

Such a great local shop that carries high quality pet foods and supplies. Staff are very helpful guiding you to find what you need. Pricing is very fair! Ive purchased several high quality foods for only a dollar or two more per bag than some of the foods at chain stores like Petco.

Great service, and good quality of products. they have a reward system. It saves you a couple of dollars at the end of the year. Prices are a bit higher than PETCO, but they are a local store and they know there stuff, the extra dollar is worth it
