my experience started with a defective product and ended with little sympathy from the staff and very little in the way of compensation for said product. I will preface this by conceding that the product was on clearance when we bought it. My boyfriend and I are from Eugene, OR and were on a trip toward the coast. We stopped in corvallis to get our dog something to hold him over till we got home, a portion of Fresh Pet, chicken. The products in the refrigerator were soft, but seemed to be at an appropriate temperature. We purchased the product and proceeded to our vehicle which was where we were to feed our dog. When my boyfriend punctured the center of the tube an as yet unprecedented foul fluid exploded into his face and all over the car, his clothes, our recently purchased and uneaten food, my clothes, and my face. We are frequent Fresh Pet users and are familiar with slightly variegated consistencies in the various versions of it, but I am also familiar with spoiled food and this product, despite the expiration date, was spoiled. When this happened my boyfriend removed his shirt to keep from gagging, it smelled very bad, so I went back in to negotiate a refund and possibly a bit of assistance in the form of moist towelettes or some other portable cleaning product (of which I know there are many in-stock) that I might let my boyfriend clean his hands, face and steering wheel before we continued on our trip. However the staff were not accommodating. The manager offered to take thirty percent off the cost of a smaller tube that was not on clearance, saving us one dollar. I realize that I was treated relatively fairly and I do not blame the staff for selling a technically unexpired product, but the fact is that it was expired and its anybodys guess as to what bacteria are now exploded all over the niches of our front seat calls for more than an insincere "sorry." There is no telling how many loads at the laundromat will take the stink of rot from our clothes. No telling when we will get another good sunny day and well-timed days off. Im not interested in a refund and I will surely still shop at PetSmart, but I feel I could have been compensated better for having had our entire trip ruined. We are not wealthy people; a picnic on the beach is a rarity for us considering the cost of fuel and the unlikelihood of synchronized work schedules. As you can see I am thoroughly affected by this and I just thought I would bring it to someones attention.

They are horrible someone working with dogs should not have short tempers I seen them loose patience with dogs drag my dog with the leash to the back I actually had to ask they didnt do that also I asked for no Anal glands to be cleaned because if your dog doesnt need it then it can force them to continually have to have it done and really mess your dog up I let the first time slide but the second time after I always tell them no glands due to them already messing up, they still did it dispite my wishes and had a attitude with me when I was upset about it and instead of being apologetic about it they were like well did the person who bathed your dog check her in? As if thats a reason to potentially ruin my dogs behind permanently? Thats a serious situation to me and most the staff are young with attitudes NO CUSTOMER service what so ever short tempered possible animal abuse and definitely no concern for your dogs. Plus I had my dog groomed I had to take her back twice Edwards siscor hands could have done a better job!! Horrible dont take your dog there I wouldnt trust them!!

First time in this Petsmart, and I will never go back. Not only was I never approached with a greeting or offered any assistance, but there was an unusual error with the credit card machine. The manager came over to assist, and the first thing she said is I should call my bank and they couldnt accept the card. She never mentioned that it may be a problem at their end. It made me feel like a broke criminal. I went to the competition and they were very helpful. There was no problem using the same card at this store.

This is truly the BEST place for grooming EVER and Lindsey is AWESOME! My GSD Colt is a big boy but not a big fan of grooming. That has all changed- he LOVES it there! Weve been there twice now, and each time I picked him up, he looked great & felt great and it was clear that he enjoyed every minute of his time there. We will be in every 6 weeks! Thank you for making my dog feel so special! ~CC

Staff is friendly and was easy to find when I couldnt locate what I was looking for (because theyd rearranged the store). The shelves are kept well stocked and they often have really good clearance deals.
