There is only one person at this store that has actually helped me, he is the manager at Customer Service. I have been in this store countless times. The Staff is RUDE! Especially the teenager hick that flexes his muscles constantly in the isles looking at himself in the customer service mirror while customers are standing in line. This sort of attitude reflects the management of the store. I have heard employees openly talking about woman and how hot they were(specifically talking about the Butt) and in what isle they were in. Is this behavior acceptable to anyone? I dont even feel comfortable taking my wife and daughter into the store because of the open and loud gawking I have seen. The other reviews about the staff are correct as well. I have never once had an employee ask me if I needed anything. The cashiers all seem disgruntled and never have anything positive to say. The store is dirty and grungy, in desperate need of an Overhaul.. I overheard another customer state that is was the Ghetto Safeway, and I must say that I agree! it is the absolute worst Safeway is the area and gives a bad name to all other Safeways. If they didnt have better prices on food then the Alberstons down the road I would NEVER GO HERE!!!! A message to Safeway management. If you value public opinion and you want to be a part of making this society a better place then you severely need to do something about this store and its employees! PLEASE!!!!

Usually I have nothing but good things to say about this location. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the selection is nice and its a very clean store. Tonights experience with the staff tonight was unexpectedly difficult, sadly. I have cashed checks there before with no issue, and the one I went in to cash tonight was well within their limit. Tonight, however, there was unexpected rejection due to the addresses not matching. The customer service rep would not even run the check, she just looked at the addresses and said, "Im sorry, we cant cash this unless the addresses match." The addresses hadnt matched on previous transactions, so I couldnt see why such a fuss was being made tonight. I asked for a supervisor or manager, and the rep got one quickly (like I said, they are generally quite nice!), and the manager also stated that the addresses not matching meant that my check could not be cashed. It took a great deal of patient insistence for this to finally go through, but they did step up to the plate as it were and ran the check through with no issues. It will not stop me from going to this store in the future, but just be aware if you go there to make sure your address on your drivers license or state ID matches your check address or youre out of luck =/

Prices here are outrages. A stroll through the meat department will unveil brown meat that isnt even on mark down. When the brown meat is marked doen, its by 30% despite the fact that it is past its Sell By date. Theres a small clearance section in back where if you stop to browse, the employees act as if youre breaking some unwritten rule. The employees during the day seem pleasant enough. Its at night when the rude and foul mouthed come out. Ive heard multiple 4 letter words escape the mouths of several employees on many different occasions. This is while they are talking amongst themselves but in full view and earshot of customers (the same isle). Then theres the issue they have with keeping the shelves stocked. Some days Ive wondered if they were going out of business.

My name is Devon Robertson Im 15 and I need a job and my hours for the store are 4:40 pm to 11:00 pm if I get hired Im fine with it but Im a beginner worker so I need some steps so I only know how to cook steak ribs and prime rib Mac and cheese and sea food Im really nice to people even when in hurt Im a kit who wants to get rich and save the people that is homeless and have no money cloth or food/water I need help with a cash register and Im a good help with the bottle thing for cleaning the machinery for the bottles,cans,and glass Im a good listener too well thats my start plz Im a sophomore in high school thank you!

I love coming to this Safeway, they usually always have what I need and theyre so friendly. One person stuck out today that just made it even more awesome was Garilyn, I think shes new but shes so sweet and so very helpful by asking if I need help out (which everyone usually asks), she got me another cart because I had a full cart, she offered to throw my empty coffee cup away for me. She was just customer service at its best there :). Again everyone there is usually always amazing which makes it more fun/relaxing to go to :).

I hate this Safeway; the one on TV highway is way nicer and more organized. Almost every customer Ive seen here is People of Wal-Mart worthy, and their aisles are completely disorganized. Sometimes employees will stand right in front of where you need to be, apparently doing nothing, making it awkward to try to grab what you need. Im trying to go grocery shopping to feed myself, not to make friends with every employee in the store.

I enjoy shopping at this location. Friendly staff most of the time and have a large meat and seafood department which is very nice. Things are usually fresh and easy to find however their green label lucerne cottage cheese in large container is ALWAYS sold out or date is expiring in a few days. I shop here for my clients and that is one of there requests and I feel bad that I always have to find her a substitute.

The product selection seems to be just a touch lousier than the nearby Albertsons on Hall. However, after their recent renovation, the place looks much nicer. Prices vary from average to "what are you thinking?" depending on the item so its important to watch closely. The bakery is superb and have always been willing to help out with custom cakes, so long as I steer clear of any copyright issues.

Its sometimes difficult to find common items and it seems very much understaffed, making it difficult to ask questions. One time, we had to wait for several minutes at the customer service counter without attention from any attendant. I literally had to walk to someone and draw attention. The self-checkout stations are always needing technical support while customers are waiting to check out.

JD is the man with a plan. He is always friendly. My partner and I frequented this location for a long time. One day I was in a hurry and got cash back from the automated machines then left without taking it. After SIX MONTHS of my putting it off(this has nothing to do with them at all), and a notably cautious verification process i got my cash handed back to me.

The checkers @ both Murray Safeways are extra specially kind & friendly. In doing the weekly shopping there cuz the "O" organics are of surprisingly good quality; we have had one negative experience in 4 years. Really like to shop here! And if they dont have something they have callled around to the other stores to locate something specific--thanks guys!
