I needed some advice on how to replace parts on a cheap box-store bike. I had ordered parts online and couldnt figure it all out on my own. G. Oscars Bicycle shop has taught me why people should go look at local shops before ever buying online and trying to fix it yourself. His prices were cheaper than what I paid for online parts and he knows how to fix it while explaining how you can fix it in the future. I wont need to know how to fix it in the future because I will gladly take all of my equipment to and buy future bikes from G. Oscars. Plus, as other reviewers have stated, this shop does not have the pompous pretentious atmosphere like other shops. It is small but stocked with everything you need and has a sort of Americana, old school feel. It has regular business hours and is definitely not open everyday at all hours, so look ahead before stopping in but PLEASE take the time to go visit a GREAT local bicycle shop.

I absolutely loved my experience at G Oscar. They helped my husband and I find great bikes. The owner and his wife were honest in their advice and seemed to genuinely want to help us find the perfect bike for what we needed. They didnt charge extra for things we added to the bike and I almost wanted to send them some additional cash afterward cause I felt like I got such a great deal. You can tell that the owner really loves bicycles. He is a caring, honest individual, it shows through in how he takes care of the bicycles and treats his customers. The shop is charming with old school style and great selection.

I was down it Tulsa for 8 weeks for work and just wanted something to cruise around town with. I walked by G. Oscars on a Sunday (my only day off) while it was closed and I noticed the owner outside. After talking to him briefly I purchased a great used bike (even though they are closed on Sunday). The bike was great for getting around and visiting the sites during my time here in Tulsa! I would recomend this Shop to anyone looking for a bike in any price range. Thanks guys!

G Oscar is one of those guys you only see in the movies. My spouse and I became novice cyclist last summer and wanted some "starter" bikes. G Oscar not only took the time to dial these bikes in, he ensured we were prepared by educating us on the proper riding techniques and procedures. He and his lovely wife are the epitome of customer service and style. I will never purchase another bicycle from any other place but his.

Had a spare bike stolen, and went to G for tubes and parts for my main ride... The thief had apparently sold my bike to G, and there it was all shiny and fixed up! He offered to sell it back to me for the price he paid, and charged nothing for all the upgrades !! I am donating a couple of old beater bikes to Oscar just for his trouble. Best bike shop in Tulsa -nay- the world.

This place - in any sense - is a piece of art. Sales & service was great. Other bike shops around Tulsa are pretty good. But the amount of help, attention, and RESPECT my classic bike got here does not come close to other bike shops around Tulsa. You learn a lot, he knows his stuff. Im going back.

I found a wonderful classic used bike here, at a super price. G has also renewed my wifes trail bike and had it done the same day, for very reasonable labor charge. They have new stock, too -- all types. Worth stopping in just to see the inside!

Excellent place to take your bike. These folks are real, will not rip you off, honest, and carry quality merchandise. Highly recommend, I have been to every shop in Tulsa and they are the best!!!
