During the time I was in the market for my very first road bike, I visited pretty much every single bike shop in Green Country. I chose Bicycles of Tulsa not because of their imventory, but because of their staff and the services they provide. Over two different visits, I worked with Scott. Being a newbie to the cycling world, I told him so, and he guided me through the processwithout trying to upsell me on equipment. He was straightforward with what I would and would not need, what should be purchased now, and what could be upgraded later. Scott took the time to walk me through the nuances of cycling, helping me get a better idea of what to expect when I first start riding. On my second visit, Scott helped me pick out the bike best suited for my needs (Giant Contend 3, as well as enough gear to get me started. I had showed up not too long vefore closing, and he had no issues staying late to get me taken care of. The next day, I realized I did not have extra tubes, nor did I even know the proper way to change a busted tube. Unfortunately Scott was not working that day, however, fortunately Josh was. I explained that I had just bought a bike, and what it was that I needed to learn. He brought out a bike identical to mine, and walked me through exactly what I needed to learn. Josh also took his time to answer all of my other question, regardless as stupid as they may have been. If you take nothing else away from my review, take this. When I visited EVERY other shop in the area, I experienced a varying degree of bike "snobbiness" because I was new, inexperienced, and not looking to spend $2000 on my first bike. These guys at Bicycles of Tulsa were down to earth, understood that everyone starts somewhere, and took their service to the next level when assisting me. I will be a customer of Bicycles of Tulsa for as long as I am in the area.

An older mounting bike I owned was stolen out of my garage about 3 months ago and I have been looking to purchase a new one. My brothers both bought new bikes last summer and I had yet to make a decision on what and where to buy a bike. I have visited 3 other bikes shops in town and 1 of them multiple times prior to deciding to go by Bicycles of Tulsa on Saturday. First, I am not an expert on mountain bikes but have done a considerable amount of research over the past 6 months about the various brands, features and functions I wanted in a bike. I walked into BOT and it was totally low key with a large selection and variety of bikes. After walking around the shop I asked a guy working if he could help me and answer some questions about mountain biking. Of all the shops I have been to here in Tulsa, Scott (the guy who helped me) hand downs had the most knowledge of anyone I personally have spoken too. Hes apparently worked at the store for 17 years and his knowledge and expertise are evident when talking to him. He had in depth industry and brand knowledge and truly assisting me in making a purchase that i am completely satisfied with. I would recommend anyone who has been to the downtown, midtown and south side shops stop by and see these guys. Hope this helps someone out there that might be looking for a bike.

Great shop with lots of selection and helpful staff. They are friendly and will chat with you about whatever you want to chat about, as well as helping you find what you need. When you buy a new bike, they get it setup to fit your body and riding style, and offer you discounts on parts and service as a new customer. I started going to them a few years ago after needing to replace an older bike, even though they are literally all the way across town from me, its worth the drive every time. Take the time to walk the shop, they pack a ton of bikes, parts, accessories and more into the building. If you just walk in and hit the sales counter, you are missing about 75% of their products. If you are a newbie, tell them so, they will guide you to the right bike or part. If you are experienced, they will gauge your experience level and be there to help you regardless. I can definitely recommend them as the place to go for no pressure and high level of knowledge. Most of the guys who work there ride from BMX, to road bikes, to mountain bikes to fat bikes, so someone there will have an answer for you. And unlike some other shops in town which cater to the snobbier bike crowd, you wont feel like unwelcome. Good place, good prices, good selection and great people.

We spent a lot of time looking around at several different bike shops in and around the Tulsa area. We saw lots of bikes and prices across most shops was pretty similar (+/- 5%). We purchased 4 bikes from Bicycles of Tulsa, because they demonstrated more interest in a long term relationship and their expertise was the top of what we found in our search. Were thrilled with the service, the quality of the products, and the guys working the shop. On one occation, they even opened their doors to us when we arrived an hour after they closed on a Saturday, just because they provide they level of service. Were pleased and highly recommend their establishment to anyone seeking a bike or bike services.

Im definately a novice rider and have only been to bicycles of tulsa until today. I was suprised how much friendlier the other shops are. Ive been to BOT a dozen or so times over the last year and half with either of our bikes and always felt a little rushed about going in for service, it always felt like dropping my car off for service if that makes sense, just rushed and hurried. Today I tried a different shop and was completely suprised by the service and friendlyness of the people there. Im not a really a talkative person, but I never felt rushed by any means.... The other shop is further, but Ill make it a point to get there anyway!

I was ready for a new Road bike after 2 yrs on a old aluminum frame hybrid. The staff at this Location were all very knowledgeable and helped me dial in on a great choice. Stephen done a great job on my fit and gave me some great tips on performance . The manager was a big help as well and took care of a minor issue with a tire. They also repaired my wheel from my old bike and had it running truer than when it was new. They have a great selection of clothing and good prices . Thank you Bicycles of Tulsa !!! I really appreciate your quality service.

Ive bought several bikes over the years at Bicycles of Tulsa dating back to 2007. Ive bought my wifes bike, kids bike, and then several for myself as Ive upgraded both road bike and mountain bikes. The staff is very professional there and offer good advice to steer you in the right direction for your budget and skill. They keep a good stock of accessories and parts so Im able to shop local vs the internet and actually walk out with the merchandise. I highly recommend them for anyone considering a cycling purchase.
