A few months ago, I take my daughters out to Collins Park to cruise around on our very old bikes. Two minutes into our ride my daughters bike throws a chain. I work on it for several minutes and theres something wrong that I cant fix on the spot. This guy comes out of nowhere, stops his ride, and immediately starts working on my daughters bike. Hes gets her up and running enough to pedal back to the truck. This guy was Michael Wyatt, operations manager at Performance Bike. He invited us to come visit him at the shop and hed have a tech check out the bike. This has been my go-to place since. I think Ive met all of the team members over the last few months and every single one of them are upstanding people. Ive bought 3 or 4 bikes from them since. Michael has taken me out on a couple of rides along the Cypresswood trails, introduced me to some great people, and has encouraged me work at becoming a better rider. Passion is not something that can be taught and this guy has a lot of it.

Mike the manager is an excellent guy. I bought my first road bike there in February 2017 and Mike has been very helpful with all my questions and steering me the right way. This is my bike home and would never go any place else. The staff is awesome and Performance Bikes should be proud to have great employees working for them. Keep up the great work guys. Great Staff , Micheal was outstanding !! Ben the in service knows his stuff and is always polite!! Great prices on bike too , and I love the minor lifetime adjustments that is included with a bike purchase.. I ride 20+ miles a week and the minor adjustment are needed ,when you a heavy rider!! Ive never had to leave my bike for minor adjustments!!

Spent money on gear here in the past. Brought in Stripped down frame to see about removing a threaded bottom bracket, without cranks installed, and its THREADED. They wanted to charge me $10.00 for what wouldve been 45 seconds to 2 minutes of work MAX. Took it down the road where it was unscrewed for free. Nickle and diming bas74rds.

Brought a Performance purchased bike in for a broken part after only riding it for 80 miles and inside the 30 day return policy. Took them a week to even get an estimate to me (that I didnt even ask for) and faulty assembly created the problem to begin with. Wont buy again from here if they wont support their own product.

I have had mostly good experiences here. They will match lower prices, even refund money later if a competitor has a lower price. If something doesnt work or you just want to return it, they will refund your money. They have a good repair shop. They are bike advocates. For a Chain Bike Shop (CBS) they are pretty good.

They have the widest range of bikes that Ive seen in Houston. I was looking for a hybrid and some shops had 2-3 different models (from 1 or 2 brands). The customer service isnt great, but its probably not a bad idea to buy a bike there and get it maintained somewhere else.

Shop can be helpful... but when the bike I tested (and was going to buy!) got a pinch flat on a test ride, because it wasnt fully inflated, I had to carry the thing a half-mile back, and didnt get so much as an apology. Nope, never again. Youve lost my business.

These guys are the best I went twice to them for my bike issues and both times the staff has helped and fix my bike. And super friendly staff. Really cool talking to them. Any recommendations for bikes this place is the way to go.

Very helpful and great customer service! Deal with Mark, he knows his stuff. Went in there to get a couple bikes. He described size, overall aspects of what you are looking for. My new home for bike and services.

Bought a new bike, had a problem, they did not take care of it. Ended up going down the street to a different bike shop and even though I did not buy my bike there they took care of my issue.

Cody is the best, talk about a guy who always goes out of his way for good customer service. Out of the 4 bike shops in the area, this is my favorite one for service.
