The dress was sold as a designer dress, but very unhappy with the huge cost of alterations it required. The beaded sash was NOT supposed to be on it and was replaced with a simple satin sash. The cost of the sash was told to us as $350 and asked for a refund on that item - $50 was offered. Jen, the owner was not available to the bridesmaids when they tried many times to reach her to place their orders. Since we knew the style/maker/color could have easily bought the dresses elsewhere, but thought ordering from her would make like easy and would give her business a boost. The dress itself was impossible to walk in - way too much fabric in the underskirt that moved forward (instead of the back) when walking - huge amount of fabric had to be removed and even though our tailor/alterations person has many years experience and worked on dresses far more expensive than this one, she had difficulty bustling up the outer lace layer in order for the bride to walk without falling over! I feel that as a professional Jen (the owner of the shop) should have known the issues that this dress would present. I feel that she was inexperienced, and when thousands of dollars are being spent, she should have been more knowledgeable and at least been available when the bridesmaids tried to order the dresses. I am sure after the wedding all this will be forgotten, but I feel any young bride should look around for a shop with more experienced personnel.

The owner of the shop and the shop itself is very nice. You will find very personalized attention here. However, the selection within this small shop is very small. I am having a destination wedding, and the selection for lighter material and more inexpensive dresses was disappointing. It appeared that the dress prices began around $1,500 and went up. However, the owner herself is having a destination wedding and said that her selection would be improving. Overall, I would still recommend checking it out, but you might not have luck finding what you want.

I heard so many great things about this store and read great reviews. Needless to say my expectations were high. I was disappointed. Her dresses are very beautiful, but unfortunately we had just been to a store down the road that made the experience so amazing. This felt like a flop. We all agreed afterwords that Jen wasnt rude, we just all got the impression that we were an inconvenience. We made an appointment so that wasnt the issue, she just definitely wasnt there and we could tell.

My bridesmaids bought their dresses at Bella Laccio, but unfortunately I didnt find out about them until I purchased my wedding gown (which was a disaster). They have some really pretty dresses. My bridesmaids were treated really well and the manager of the store took extra time with us to help them all decide what fit their body types best. The dresses came in last week and fit the girls really well, Im happy and relieved. I cant wait until my 9/17/11 wedding.

my dress is amazing!!! the owner jen was so nice and so helpful. i had 6 friends/family with me to try on dresses and i was the center of attention. i had tried on gowns at davids bridal before coming here and was extremely disappointed. at bella laccio i was the only bride there and all my guests were able to sit down and enjoy themselves. i would highly recommend this shop to all brides who are looking for an affordable designer dress.

Not only was the service at Bella Laccio amazing, but the dress was too! I got so many compliments on my dress at our wedding. I had originally gone to Davids Bridal, but my dress was a disaster! Jen helped me find an amazing dress as well as a seamstress that could alter it in time. Overall, an amazing experience. My dress is something that I will keep forever. It is truly timeless!
