Response from customer: -Owner: Your gown was ordered on August 3, 2015, and was ordered according to the size and weight you were at that time. Could your weight have changed since then? This is a valid point, especially when you wont see the dress you ordered for another 4 months. However, this is not the case. When I tried on the stores dress, the bust/cup size and body fit was perfect, if not a little more snug fitting at the time. The only adjustments needed was hemming, which I did not mind, and expected. I also did not expect to receive a custom-made dress, but I did expect the bust/cup size and body fit to be the same as the store dress. I came in to try on and pickup my dress from the shop a day or 2 after Christmas. At this time, I was 10lbs over the weight I had at the original fitting. So, I was already expecting the dress not to fit. Surprisingly it did and even with the added 10lbs, the bust/cup size was large. A shop worker even pointed out that I would need to have the cup size adjusted. The body fit was fine at the time. However, after dropping the 10lbs I gained over the holidays, it has become even more apparent that the cup size is LARGE and the dress around the leg region is very loose fitting. Luckily, I have images wearing the dress at the original fitting, in August. It clearly shows the bust/cups and leg region fit perfectly. What I failed to do was take a picture of the tag for comparison and reference. I have concluded that either the dress size that I tired on at the store was not ordered (although, I was told by a store employee that the size dress they ordered is the same size as the dress I tired on in the store), or the seamstress who made the dress decided to make the dress larger. Either case is unsatisfactory and disappointing. So my recommendation for future customers would be to take pictures of tags and you wearing the dress for future reference, otherwise youre left with confusion, uncertainty and will need to pay extra to have things adjusted. This has been my experience with the shop. I have read the other store reviews and many were pleased. But for myself, I am not happy with my purchase and the extra money I have to spend to have it fixed. Response from owner: Being a Premier Bridal Boutique, for nine bridal designers, we are required to uphold the highest integrity and standards of each designer. We encourage our visiting brides to record any and all information they desire, including photographs and copies of the designers tags and our company tags. We keep a written record of every bride who has tried on gowns in our boutique along with their three favorite gowns, which includes the style number, size and color. This was done for you and has been attached to your final receipt, which is permanently kept on file. If you inspect the inside of your gown you will find information relating to the manufacturer, and size, as well as numbers indicating when and where the gown was made. We do not remove these labels. Your gown was ordered on August 3, 2015, and was ordered according to the size and weight you were at that time. Could your weight have changed since then? Your gown was not custom-made, but was ordered and manufactured to the designers closest published size to fit you. It is very possible that alterations may be needed to give you a custom fit. We wish you all the best in the future and know you will be the lovely bride you have always dreamed you would be. Original Rating: I would double check your dress size and take pictures of the tag and dress before ordering. My ordered dress fits bigger than the sample size dress I tried on at the store. The shop told me it is the exact same size as the store dress, but the seamstress must have sewn in a different cup size for the bust. The mermaid dress is also larger around the leg region. This is a disappointment because now I have to pay $235 extra to have it resized, and another $180 to have it hemmed. So frustrating!

This place SUCKS!!! I would have given it no stars, but you cant so 1 star was being overly generous. I would not recommend to any one. I purchased a $2000 SAMPLE gown right off their rack and put an $1100 deposit on the dress. A month after financial constraints made us cancel the wedding and I called the shop (since I do not live in Gainesville) to see how I go about getting a refund. The sales girl played middle man because the "Manager was to busy to come to the phone." Eventually the manager got on the phone and basically told me the dress was mine and that "All their dresses are special orders and they dont sell sample dresses". I asked if she was sure about that since right on the invoice it said "SAMPLE GOWN DISCOUNT". She was full of excuses and said she would use the $1100 "as a credit for Mother of the Brides dresses, bridesmaids, etc." What part of THERE IS NO WEDDING did she miss? This place is a joke. So buyers BEWARE!!

I have been all over the country, including Kleinfeld NY, looking for my wedding dress and I found it at Bridal Boutique in Gainesville. OUTSTANDING!!! I purchased my wedding dress, my mothers dress and my tiara at this boutique. The staff were very personable and accommodating to ALL my needs. We stopped by many times, sometimes with no appointment, and they always treated my mother and I with the utmost RESPECT and ATTENTION. We both tried many dresses and we never felt rushed or forced to make a purchase. The owner, Andrea, is very accommodating and understands the needs of a bride. I had a HUGE personal issue that affected one of my purchases and could have became a nightmare. Andrea and her team not only solved my problem but they did it easily with no added stress. EXCELLENT DAMAGE CONTROL SKILLS!!! This store and its staff is truly AMAZING!!! If you want to feel special, this is the store for you!!!

Bridal Boutique is one of the worse bridal stores I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They have promised many things and have not come through on a single thing that was promised. Extra was paid for express delivery for the bridesmaids dresses and were almost two weeks late from the arrival date given. Not only were the dresses late but 2 of the 9 dresses ordered were the wrong size. Making the bridesmaids spend more money to get them altered. My client also paid extra for details on the veil that were not there apon delivery for the second time. Which the delivery of the veil was late the first time and sent back for the details which were not given the second time. We are not but two days from the wedding, the Bride does not have what she wants, nor what she has paid extra to have. If you want a huge headache, an empty pocketbook and a very unsatisfied bridal party then go to Bridal Boutique.

I found my wedding dress at A Bridal Boutique and had a wonderful experience. This was one of the best parts about planning my wedding and the process was so smooth and effortless. All of the staff at the boutique are very accommodating and knowledgeable. The prices are so affordable (all of the gowns in the shop are $2000 and under) and the selection is fantastic. I went dress shopping there two times and both times I tried on about 7-8 dresses and narrowing them down was very difficult. I even found quite a few dresses that I had seen in The Knot and other bridal publications. I referred my best friend who is also getting married in the next few months and she found her dress there as well. A Bridal Boutique is a true gem and I was so happy to have done business with the ladies who operate it.
