TAKE YOURE MONEY ELSEWHERE! This is my second terrible experience inside of this bass pro and it was the same department in the store to do it. My mother and I went inside this store to simply look for a gun case for her newest purchase. However as most people know thats not all you leave with. We have roughly $150 worth of products in our hands and decide to stop just one more time to see if one of the grips will actually fit around my mothers newest weapon. we wait at the counter for roughly 10-15 minutes before another man walks up that is just walking around looking at guns through the glass. A sales associate (older gentleman) walks up and walks straight passed my mother and goes up to the other gentleman asking him can I help you. My mother was ignored intentionally due to the fact that she is a woman shopping for a gun. So a big hats top off to you bass pro for losing more money from my family. You started with not wanting 2 young Americans who have just as much the right to the second amendment as anyone else to buy a weapon from you and ended it with sexual discrimination to my mother. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Hi I called the Toledo Ohio store and talk with the manger over camping (Nick) was his name I think. Asked about Kayaks and if their were going on sale/clearance do to the season changing. He then told me that the prices are as they are and that is that. I had asked to speak with a manger do to a sign I have seen in your stores about price matching. Cabelas had afford $100.00 off over the phone to me on all their in stock Kayaks. I was unable to relay this information to Nick do to him be so rude. With Cabelas being 40 min from the house and Bass Pro being 20 min I try to save the gas and you the phone first but it look like I just started driving to Cabelas first. I will be a Cabelas visa card and start us it and reframe from us my Bass pro card that I have had for over ten years. You my want to look in training manger in customer service.

Its an awesome place to walk around and check things out but I rarely buy anything unless its marked down considerably since everything is marked up a lot. The only bad experience Ive had here is I tried to do a wedding registry here (which at the time, they didnt really offer this option - not sure if they do now or not) but a nice woman at the counter gave us one of their hand held scanners and showed us how to create a list on it but shortly afterwards while we were walking around an employee stopped us and was getting really rude and was accusing us of trying to steal it among the items we were scanning without hearing our side of the story as to why we had it in the first place.

Worst experience ever! We got here at 7:10pm after work with our five year old daughter and two year old special needs son, the lady asked our daughter if she was here to see Santa and then tells us they cant see him because theyre out of passes! You all advertise that Santa is available 10-8 and bass passes are available to "skip the line," but no where does it say theyre mandatory or that you cant see Santa if you show up at 7! False advertising and rude service. Never mind we drove 30 minutes with our son who has a trach and feeding tube, our daughter was devastated, left sobbing, not understanding why she couldnt see Santa. If you cant see Santa until 8, dont put that online.

Made a special trip to the store to purchase a turkey fryer. Asked associate where they were located and she pointed us in the right direction. No one around to ask questions about the product. We made our purchase, drove 70 miles home, only to discover no instruction booklet was included. Called the store to inquire about getting one. Was told they would leave a copy at the front desk for us. They could not mail anything from the store, or that I "might" be able to find one online. Really??? You cant mail me one? Oh and did I mention, my drive is North bound on 75. Nothing but construction for over half my drive. wont be going back.

As a former employee of this particular store, I urge the public to stay away. This company employs some of the most bigoted people I have ever met. Not only does the staff openly hate gays, and anyone whos different, but theyre not afraid to talk behind your back either. I have witnessed and been a victim of the discrimination first hand, and the general manager wouldnt do anything to make it stop. Those things aside, I would not recommend Bass Pro to my enemy. The prices are in general much higher than you will pay elsewhere. I will never step foot in a Bass Pro again.

If you like outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, etc., then this is the place for you. The store is huge, and it has just about everything that you could want for outdoor recreation, though it does lean towards fishing and water recreation. The prices can be a little high, but they do have a lot of good clearance items too. Theres also a lot of fun things for the kiddos to do if they start getting bored. It also has a little cafeteria area where you can get sandwiches, chips, drinks, etc. A good place to just come and browse around for a while.

I used to enjoy coming to this store, until I get was pestered by an employee to sign up for a weekend getaway that sounded too good to be true. Turns out that it was. Bass Pro apparently runs a timeshare business on the side, but as with all of these scams, the employee was not forthcoming with this information. I really have no desire to patronize a company that attempts to scam its customers, especially when the much bigger Cabelas is just a short drive away in Dundee.

Go there often to shoot and buy accessories for my bow. Cannot say enough about the Archery department and the guys/gals they have in it. Mark has spent so much time with me teaching me basic fundamentals and tuning my bow. If you need your bow looked at take it there and ask for mark or craig. I wouldnt take my bow anywhere else Awesome service! Appreciate every time I get to go there and talk with those guys.
