This store is good and clean. I have always found the staff very helpful I have bought custom blinds and the staff there are very patient and helpful too. The appliances choice are good, they do price match plus you get a lot of rewards that you can use to buy other things here. All this being said, JCP has serious issues with the way they do billing which caused me weeks of nightmare to sort out. When I wanted to hold off two of the four appliances for later delivery, they had to cancel it and re-order it and I was double charged. Worse yet, all four showed up, I told them they had to take back two for later delivery. The delivery guys were very nice and they did but it didnt get returned in the system for weeks and I was double charged for those two. In the bill, its hard to know what it is you got if you bought a bunch of things at once. I could go on and on and write a book on the nightmare I had with appliance purchase experience. The appliances themselves will be reviewed elsewhere and I like them but the only guy that knows something about it is the one supervisor. Rest of them have no clue. Even then, I found out that there is a design defect in the LG french door fridge (black stainless steel) where the right bin inside cant be pulled out! The right door (door in door) cant swing back far enough to allow you to pull out that draw for washing. We called for repair within 2 weeks of delivery and the guy said its design defect and nothing can be done. After literally weeks of spending time talking to JCP appliance supervisor, not once was any of this pointed out. When it comes to clothing, their $10 off of $10 etc, I love them. I use it a lot. Hope their new appliance dept. will make some significant improvements. PS: JCP really needs to fix the endless, complex mess of a site. I cant login to JCP and expect to see my rewards, we need two diff pwds! I went through the whole process of associating my account with my rewards account and yet today, when I click on rewards, it asks me to verify the email! I did that and the site is just spinning. The only way so far for me to get to my rewards is when I get an email saying I have a reward, I click on it. Somehow, today, even thats taking me to JCP website, not my rewards site. THIS IS AN EXASPERATING EXPERIENCE EACH TIME.

Went to go purchase make up at the Sephora they have... Had my coupon that I havent used and they told me I couldnt use it because it was already used and made excuses like I was bothering them... Called the one in Novi in the mall and they were so nice and looked up my account which the other one didnt even offer... They looked me up and saw that I do have a coupon that I could use and my email was correct. If the one on Ford road did their job I would be happy and do business with them again, but Ill just go to a different one. Or to Ulta who provides the same thing and you get better points and they are NICE.

Have never been more rudely treated by sales staff. Susan in the draperies dept left me standing there to wait on lady who came after me and I literary followed them because she was looking for the same type of item. Susan ignored me the whole time. Then walking through store, asked sales woman for help,she replied "What do I look like,like I have a register in my pocket?&I guess the jc in jc penny stands for just crappy service. Live only down the block but will never shop there again. HEllO MACYS !

I am disgusted with the costumer service here! You need to teach your employees kindness. I went up to a lady by the shoe department to ask her a question, and when I said, "Excuse me", she just rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Seriously? Who does that?! Sorry, but Im not coming back here.

Ask for Sabina ..for best hair cut .. n best of service.. she is master stylist .. bsy but make an appointment with her .. I generally go to her and it makes me look like a MODEL :) my friends and relative ..we jus love her work.. would highly recommend only Sabina in JC penny salon canton

Multiple bad experiences here. The staff is lazy and unconcerned, the management isnt helpful if need be. The staff is quite unprofessional, I once heard two managers joking about an employee in an very inappropriate way while I was shopping ... It made me feel uncomfortable.

A lot of the clothing is overpriced. They do give good coupons $10 off $10 but there are a lot of restrictions within the coupons. Staff can be slow and no self price check must ask staff. Okay place to shop for okay clothes. Nothing special.

Overall we like this location, HOWEVER Google says they open at 10 on Saturday, yesterday their sign said they open at 10 Saturday, we show up at 10 today to get a coupon and they are all out because, "they open at 8".
