Always get the best service here particularly at The Rail (a mens section). It truly is like having your own fashion consultant as they helped me realize I was wearing jeans and shirts far too large. Rather than criticizing my (lack of)fashion knowledge the young woman instead suggested I try some jeans and a shirt she picked out as I was shopping for those items. Once on she asked what I thought. It looked great..not sloppy as my previous clothes looked. I told her I love it..she pointed out that sometimes wearing clothes that are more fitted can have a slimming effect which was clear in the mirrors. The result led me to become a sharper dresser and I now get the occasional compliment when out around town in clothes purchased here. At Xmas I was shopping for a jacket for my wife. The sales associate spent 45 mins w/ me helping find the perfect color,material etc and my wife absolutely loved it. The associate even tried on several coats to get a feel for how they looked on as she was of similar size as my wife. Perhaps most impressive is that in the first minute of talking to me she knew I wasnt going to spend a fortune and yet she acted as if I was a VIP customer-not rushing or pressuring me to buy anything or buy more items. I wish I could recall the names of the 2 associates I dealt with to thank them by name. But Ive found that nearly every time I shop at Nordstrom I receive 5 star customer service. It is such a rare experience these days to find such help..kudos Nordstrom employees and management for creating such an environment. If I could rate u six stars I would. If youve never shopped here Im excited for you -Im nearly certain you will be as impressed as I.

I like the selection at this store but am deducting 3 stars for the terrible staff (with the exception of Amir in womens shoes - look him up!). Several of the staff here are disgusting - they wont speak to you unless they think you are wealthy. One of the older women in Encore completely ignored me (on several different occasions) while I was pregnant but when she saw me a few months later and found out I was a level 4 member she literally stalked me - following me around the store, offering me water, etc. You offer your level 4 members water and carry their clothing to the dressing room without hesitation - but not someone who is 8 months pregnant? You should be ashamed of yourselves. If you must shop at this store - find Amir he is respectful of everyone regardless of card level and status. He follows up on all of my orders and confirms delivery if an item is purchased from another store, he lets me know when my favorite shoes are on sale, he helped me track down a sweater that I desperately wanted but was out of stock online, and he helped me pick out a rug! Amir is 5 star - be more like him.

This is not the largest Nordstrom but it has everything I need. Kids shoes and clothing, womens clothing for all needs and occasions, and wonderful shoes! The sales people here are so friendly and helpful; more so than their counterparts at their sister store at the Somerset Collection. I feel that I have the space and the time to shop here, and am always given attention when needed and never feel rushed. This is my go-to store for nearly everything. Their phone app is also convenient and easy to use. I have yet to use the curb-side pick up, but Im sure that will be useful one day. The cafe is a nice place to grab a bite, and my daughter has always enjoyed the food and the space too. Finally, their customer service doesnt disappoint. If you are tired of poor return policies or poor service, shop Nordstrom and experience respectful service.

Husband Review: 66% D (Would come again, if I got a pay raise or she let me get a bike). "Sit-ability": 10/10 -Seats Galore, many husbands spotted relaxing. Music: 9/10 -Mix of calm music and upbeat oldies. Hardly above backround noise Smell: 7/10 -Scented, but not pungent. To be expected when a quarter of your store is a perfume shop... Affordability: 1/10 -"Are you [expletive] kidding me? [expletive]." -"Seriously, thats two car payments for half a dress." -T-shirts can be found in $19.99 - $49.99 range. Miscellaneous: 6/10 -Multiple Bathrooms (+2) -Very open-air. Easy to find her. (+1) -First floor (of two) is essentially half shoes and half perfume. (-3) -High traffic at 2:00pm-3:00pm. Can only imagine the busy hours. (-2) -Her clothes were basically sold out in (all?) her size(s?) (-2) -Mens section. Just as expensive. (0)

Went to Novi Mall yesterday ... 2+ hour drive. Id seen some lovely items online so decided to go to store to see what was in stock and try items on for a special upcoming event. I wear 2X. I know Im obese and usually hate shopping. However, I was excited about the items Id seen online and looking forward to finding a lovely item or two. Stopped in the special event area. 3-4 clerks were chatting so I asked if they had plus sized items in this area or in a different area. A clerk snarkily told me they didnt carry items in their store for "someone like you" and that Id need to order from their online site. Sure bust my bubble of happy! So, I went to Lord & Taylor who more than excelled at customer service and - happily - spent my money there.

I love the stock, not the staff. Im always impressed by the selection of goods. Its the kind of place where if you want it, theyll probably have it. Theyve got great variety for every style. The staff on the other hand, isnt so great. Most of them are pretty stuck up, as if working at Nordstrom suddenly makes them better than everyone else. Ive noticed that theyll usually greet people who look like they have money to spend, and ignore the ones who dont. Ive also noticed that they treat plus size female shoppers rather poorly. I overheard a customer ask about plus size womens clothes and the saleswoman actually scoffed at the question. As if it were ridiculous to expect anyone to make or carry fashion for plus sizes.

I called to find out if this particular store carries Le Labo fragrances. I was kept on hold, transferred to 4 different registers, and no answer. The woman who answered the main Nordstrom phone did not offer to take my number, find out if they carry this brand, and call me back. I live an hour away and would like to spend my money there, but with such terrible customer service, its just easier to order online

My wedding make-up was done by Helen. What a phenomenal job! I received almost as many compliments on my make-up as I did my dress! A few thought I had gotten it air brushed. Helen is very friendly and extremely talented. The rest of the staff I worked with at the Nordstrom MAC were great as well. Overall I find much better service here than at the MAC counter in Macys (12 Oaks).

Purchased some hunter boots from here today I showed the sales man the boot I wanted he took it to the back with him to make sure he got the right boot Im guessing he buffed the boots and put them in the box I brought them and headed home once I got home and took the boots out the box I realized he gave me the wrong style and two left boots !
